Question regarding weather!!!

I know its probably a bit late to chime in on this subject but we went to the mayan last year in February, and though it was really hot enough through the day it did cool off in the evening so if you are wanting it to be warm enough to "jump in the pool first thing in the morning" I would leave it a bit later!

We are going in late March so hope it will be ok then! Fingers crossed! Hope this helps Jackie?!

We go to Playa Del Carmen every year over Martin Luther King Weekend and the weather is typically very nice. 80's during the day, and cooler at night - you may need a jacket or something. Still very nice out.

In the few years we have been going, we have seen it rain one day. The days are usually sunny part of the day, some clouds.

We also attended a DW in Playa this past May (Memorial Day weekend) and it rained every day we were there.

So, I'm a few weeks late... But, I'm planning my wedding on the Mayan Riviera for December 30th. I've never been to Mexico at all! But I love the idea of it, and looking at average temperatues, it seems it will be nice at that time, any advice aboutt hat time of year, is it a bad one (i haven't booked a venue yet).

Also, do you guys always go on site trips? Anybody here get married without a site trip?

AGHHHHH! I hope its not rainy the whole time we are there. That would be horrible. I dont mind if it rains for a few minutes every day but I would be completely bummed if I paid for a vacation and a wedding and we sat in the rain the whole time. YUCK

I went to RM in 2003 in early january and the weather was really nice. It was hot during the day and then cooler at night. I do remember that we were wearing zip up hoodies at night. But it's not freezing or anything like that. Just chilly compared to sitting in the hot sun all day. But it is so beautiful. Love it!!

Nope, I have never been to our resort although have been to the Mayan Riviera before so I know that we love the area. The bottom line is that with everything else thats going on we can't afford a site visit too!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
