    Hi ladies,

    My mom is struggling trying to find a "Mother of the Bride" outfit that is also great for the beach. I was hoping you could offer some inspiration, what is your mom wearing? THANKS!!!

      Here is a link to a picture of the dress I plan to wear to my daughter's wedding:

      ::MORRELL MAXIE:: Collections

      I hope the link works, if not go to http://www.motellmaxie.com and search for style # 2100614. I got it in the charcoal grey.

      Not everyone's cup of tea but I liked it :)

        Ooooh, that's a very nice dress! I think my mom is too conservative for that though, She doesn't have to be, she just seems to be afraid to show any leg!!

            You can't tell from these pictures, but my mom's dress was eyelet material, so very beachy, yet still dressy. Here is a pic.

            MIL is a little older and a little more conservative than my mom and this is what she wore.

            I think they both looked amazing and like themselves. That is the most important part. They need to be happy and comfortable. Our parents did not match the bridal party. I told them they could, but they decided not to.

                Here are our moms -- I loved both outfits and maybe the flowy pants idea is good for someone who doesn't like to show leg

                We have four mothers (two real mom's and two step-mom's) They are all incredibly different people but here is a picture of all the parents-we had a church ceremony, so my family is all a little more dressy than you would be at the beach, but hopefully this will help your mom feel like she has some options.

                and here is my mom's dress, she walked me down the aisle so she needed something to blend with my dress

                my mom had a little coat thing for the ceremony that came off for the reception
