Flower Dilemma

Recommended Posts

Ok, so i'm not sure what to do about my/bridesmaids boquets. I'd like your guys opinion if you dont mind.

I'm wearing white and the girls are wearing turquoise. The flowers included in the resorts wedding package are fake (and i'm not too fussy on them) so I am going to do my own and bring with me. But i'm unsure what colors to use.

I dont really want to incorporate any more than turquoise and white into the flowers so....

Do I do all turquoise (though the only flowers I can find in that color right now are carnations, which are definately not the nicest flower ever)? and if I do use all turquoise, should the girls be the same (even though they are wearing turquoise dresses?

or should I do all white? or white and turquoise?....oh, I dunno....

I kinda didnt want to add in another color besides just turquoise and white b/c I am SO particular when it comes to details (yes, I can admit that), especially with matching stuff. And i know if I add in another color anywhere, then i'll be trying to incoporate it in other places......and really i dont want to be buying more stuff....cuz I know I cant let stuff go when I see something, lol

I think turqouise and hot pink would look HOT! lol

If you need a visual, I'll try to hunt for one. I understand the obsession with everything coordinating..I'm like that too. However, I think the contrast of flowers against dress looks great in pictures. Just my opinion though. :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
