@@scamacho -  I second @@fandreolli - Azul Sensatori is a great option!

I would recommend finding a travel agent  - give them your list of 'must-haves' and 'wish-lists' for a venue, and they should come back to you with a few options. I gave our TA a long list, and she came back with 4 options in Riviera Maya and 4 in Punta Cana. We selected Azul Sensatori because it was Family Friendly, with adults only, less expensive, and great resort, good food, and overall a good vibe. Plus, she negotiated 2017 room rates for our 2018 wedding - saving our guests $$.

See. I kind of feel like my TA didn't real do anything. She asked what they offered and relayed the message to us. We were quoted 1400 per couple for 4 days 3 nights. Is that about what your guests were quoted as well @@TandAGetHitched?

@@fandreolli - yep, that's very similar to the rate our TA got for us. $1400 for 2 adults for 3 nights is cheaper than if they booked direct on the Azul website, which is currently $1886 for 2 people/3 nights for our wedding dates in May 2018 - https://bookingengine.karismahotels.com/

I think the group rates and sometimes the perks, can depend on the TA status they have with Karisma... (diamond vs. silver)

Thank you. Are you having real flowers or I saw a lot of people talking about using real touch flowers. I am so afraid taht they will look cheap and fake. Do you know anything about that? What will you be doing? Lomas seems like their bouquets are quite pricey.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
