Old San Juan Venue Available In November

Hi everyone. Hope this post is landing in the right place.

 

Here's my situation: After planning a November wedding for San Juan, Puerto Rico, my fiance and I found out the process for our church is going to prevent us from getting married on our set date. 

 

We had already put in deposit on a venue, and with less than six months until the date, we cannot cancel and get our deposit back.

 

We're hoping to find someone to take over the date. Old San Juan is a beautiful, vibrant place with amazing ocean views and old world architecture. Because Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, there's no need to worry about passports and visas. It's convenient, beautiful, perfect for a destination wedding. We're still planning on getting married there at a later date.

 

Here are the details: 

 

Venue: Casa Olimpica, Old San Juan 

Date: Saturday, November 11, 2017 (7 hours on this date)

Deposit: $1700

Total cost: $3000

 

I'm attaching photos of Casa Olimpica so you can get a sense of the venue. If you're interested, you'll simply pay us the deposit amount and we'll transfer the reserved date into your name. The people at Casa Olimpica are accommodating and easy to work with.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
