Engagement Photos(nyc)

hello ladies..

 

can anyone help? does anyone live in nyc within the 5 boroughs?

 

My fh and I didnt take engagement photos, but I am thinking that now I wanna take them.. our wedding is march 08.I know its kind of late, but I really wanna use the photos and have a guest book created.. on each page there will be pictures of him and I so that they can view while signing the book..i saw it at a wedding that we attended and loved the idea..

 

can u recommend any place that u might have gone to or a friend?

I did my engagement photos in Central Park. I LOVE them!!!!!!

I don't know if you want to go to one specific spot or if you are willing to go to different places. Do you want to be outside or inside? It's getting kind of cold as I'm sure you can already feel. When do you plan on taking them?

 

If you wait till it gets closer to the holidays you can take pretty ones in Rockefeller Center. That would be sooo nice (although it could look more x-massy than engagement like).

 

You can take pics on the ferris wheel inside Toys R' Us in Times Square.

 

You could do central park which has so many different areas, they are just beautiful.

 

If you have a friend who has a high rise apartment you can get great pics of the two of you with the skyline in the back.

i really like the central park location, and would LOVE to have a picture or two on the ferris wheel..thats a very unique idea.. really like that..

 

do u have any photographers in mind, cuz i really dont know any..

 

as far as when i want to take them..i really wanna take them asap.. cuz the wedding will be here b4 i know it.

 

can anyone tell me the price range for engagement photos..

I think Maureen (mobride) lives in Jersey and she did BD photos that turned out great, maybe her photog can recommend someone or would be willing to come into the city for you. (not sure how far away from NYC she is)

Contact Leigh Miller. Obviously she's in California and probably won't be in NYC, but she had a friend help out on my photo shoot who is from NYC. Perhaps she'd give you her name and contact information. She was SUPER nice and took great shots.

We'll be in NYC in early Feb. doing an engagement session with another couple. We're doing their shoot in Soho since they want to get street life/cafes in there. But the park is always beautiful for engagement shoots.
