Hi ladies,

 

I am getting married in April 2018. But I am having trouble on the resort to use. So far I've narrowed down my choices to azul five, generation riviera maya, el dorado casita, moon palace and secret Maroma beach. Have any booked their wedding at any of these resorts? I love the karisma resorts but I do not see that they offer promotions. For instance palace resort offers free events, or upgrades for booking a certain amount of rooms. If anyone has another advice on other resort hotels I should look at please let me know. :)

If you use a TA, they can get you tons of promotions/upgrades/etc at any Karisma resort. I'm getting married at Generations in 2018 and my guests will be staying there or at the other two sister resor

@@Lposos I am also getting married April 2018! I have a wedding planner that I'm working with trying to narrow down the resorts and happy with the progress so far. I have some of the same resorts on my list including Azul Fives and Moon Palace. I have heard mixed reviews about Azul Fives, lots of brides saying it's fabulous but also saw some complaints about outside vendor fees. I was also looking at Dreams Tulum and Dreams Riviera Cancun. I am not the type to make decisions quickly so just doing my research. Hope you enjoy your planning!  :)

Have you decided on a venue? We are getting married at Azul Fives April 4th, 2018. So excited! Yes the outside vendor fees are ridiculous and there are many hidden costs!!  We are starting to think about  keeping our decor pretty basic (scenery is decor enough for us ;) ) and bringing most of it from home to save on cost. Exactly 369 days. So exciting!

Hi,

 

We are also getting married in April 2018.  Still finalizing the details on the resort since we want to make sure we have the best price for our guests. 

 

We are hesitating on a few dates in April and a few different resorts all in Mayan Riviera/Cancun area.

 

We have decided to work with a wedding planner here in Ottawa, Canada to make sure everything goes as planned and it is as stress free as possible for us.

 

What are you guys doing for photographers?

. Hi just had my wedding 3 weeks ago at a Karisma resort, Azul Sensatori to be exact because I had kids at my wedding but I worked with a destination wedding travel agent and received a few promotions that way. I don't think those resorts themselves directly offer promotions

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
