Hello!

New to the forum, thought I would see if there is anyone else who is or has had a wedding at Hacienda Tres Rios in Mayan Riviera?

Doing a search, the last thread on here is about 2 years old and it seems much has changed there since then.
We are booked for November 2017 and I am just a little nervous as I am struggling to find many recent reviews or advice regarding weddings here.

Specifically I am curious if anyone has had issues with the fact that they sell timeshares there.

Or if anyone had any complaints about the beach/water quality. When we visited, the water was rather murky and unlike your typical Caribbean water. I just hope this won't be a major disappointment to our guests.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Welcome to our forum community ericanatalie and Congrats on your upcoming destination wedding!!!

The colour of the sand is what shows off the signature azure blue of the Caribbean ocean, so when the sand bottom is sugar white, you'll see that beautiful turquoise colour!

Here's an aerial photo of Hacienda Tres Rios Resort that may give you a better idea, and shows the crystal clear water:

Hope you find all the answers you're looking for, and wish you all the very BEST with your plans - cheers!!! Moments That Matter Photography team :)

Hi Ericanatalie!
November is one of the best months to enjoy the Riviera Maya and the pretty beaches, so, weather, check!
Hacienda Tres Rios is a really nice Resort. Their beaches are awesome for weddings. They are kind of far from the rest of the people and guests from de Resort. It can give you this "exclusive" feeling, like the beach is only for you and your guests.
Imagine the portraits you can get From there.
Let me show you some of my wedding photography job. From the getting ready, ceremony, the reception, trash the dress , family and friends... Everything!!
Enjoy every single moment from this journey!

This is something you can find at the Hacienda:

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
