I had floral centerpieces for the reception which were done by an outside florist that the restaurant owner recomended and they delivered the centerpieces to the restaurant. I will post reception pics when I get them.

Michael, the resort's photographer is actually the nicest man. I know some have heard negative things about him but he was wonderful to us. He came to Evita's with us for the reception and took pics of us jumping in the pool in our wedding attire after the reception. He was photographing for about 6 hours and stopped the clock early and charged us for only 3. He gave us a great deal on everything too. 6 hours of photography, 224 full resolution pics on CD with permission to reprint and post online, and 34 5x7's plus shipping from Jamaica to US for $1000.00. He was really great!
I'm so glad to hear a good review of Michaelsmile36.gif

What did you think of the prices and selection of flowers at the resort?

Wow - it's so good to hear that you liked Michael and what a great deal he gave you. Also, glad to see that the resort florist did a great job too.

See - it just goes to show I need to relax... Everything will come together when I get there!!

I am so glad to hear you were happy with Michael!! And his pictures turned out beautifully, great colours, great poses, I love them!

Also really nice to hear how well the flower order worked for you, I want flowers for my hair as well so I think I will do that. Sounds like the resort really does have it all together and things run really smoothly, that is excellent! Chandlyn sounds awesome!

Thanks Mo!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
