I found 2 dresses online and I'm almost positive one of them will be 'the one'. Here's the problem...they are from the Spring 2008 collection and won't be in stores until December or January! The stores I have spoken with that will be getting them assured me that I could still order it that late and still have it for my July wedding, but I'm scared!

Should I order without trying it on? Or push it and wait a month or two? Or just look for something else? Ah, I don't know what to do!!

BTW, here are the dresses...

I like them both.

Thanks for all the advice so far!

I have tried on a similar style dress from another designer - Sincerity Bridal - Style: 3184

It was close, but not quite what I was looking for (a bit TOO girly with the bow and all).

I think I'll go ahead and wait until one of the bridal salons gets the dress in so I can see it in person. I hate waiting though! lol.

I agree with the other girls though that you should really try it on. I ordered a dress online and when it come it fit HORRIBLY (and I gave them my measurements!!) so now I have 2 dresses b/c I went and bought another b/c I hated how the first one fit....anyone want to buy a dress??!! LOL!!

I just want to say that I love the second dress! Beautiful!!!

- and I ordered my dress in September and my wedding is in April. Same thing as ordering it in December/January for a July wedding.

I think it depends on the designer, but I think 4-6 months to order is standard. With that said, you could either try on other dresses in that style to see if you like it or wait until December and try on the actual dresses..

I would continue my search but hold off buying anything until you try them on in December.. that way if you don't like them on you, you might find something else that you love!

Holy crap, those dresses are BEAUTIFUL!!!!

I LOVE them both! I think the 2nd would be very flattering on just about any figure -- and it draws atttion to the bustline and away from the hips (a dream design for me!!!).

However, I would not buy one without trying it on, b/c all the dresses i LOVED -- didn't do a thing for me when I tried them on and the dresses I never cared for are the ones I narrowed it down to b/c of how flattering they were when I tried them on.

I think you should be okay waiting until January to try it on and order it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
