I can't decide, I really wish I was able to meet with her. I'm leaning towards Maye because she said we can do our own vows during the ceremony, we can do a blending of the sands and we can get our blood work stuff done before we get there. When I spoke to Rosy about all the legal stuff it sounded that she just may not have as much experience with it. Maybe I'll plan a phone meeting with Rosy before I hire Maye. She is very responsive to my emails which I like.

I am sure that you can't make a wrong decision here so I would definitely go with the person that you're the most comfortable with.

I think that's a very smart idea!! I'll be honest with you, getting guests to a different location was a PIA!

And the driving there did suck! Those lanes on the side of highway lanes, what is up with that?? And the different lane to make a left turn, and all the U-turns you had to make... it was really annoying.

Did you ever get to see Pedregal Beach? We went into the Pedregal neighborhood (with all the mansions), right past the marina, but never really saw a straight way to the beach. Is that were it is? If so, I could see why she was confused... it's tons of winding roads through humongous houses!

Don't you just love how you have to exit right to turn left and the crazy turns there? I think we spent the first two days just figuring out how to drive- we passed the Riu Palace twice before we finally figured out how to get to it!
It sounds like you covered a lot of ground in the 2 days you were there. I'm sorry your WC meetings didn't all turn out, but it sounds like you got a lot of great info from Maye.
Thanks for all the info you shared, I can't wait to hear what you decide for sure. The Sheraton is gorgeous- I've seen nothing but wonderful pics of that place. I'm sure it would be beautiful and much less stressful!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
