Anyone Getting Married At Beach Palace Or Hyatt Ziva? Need An Idea On

Recommended Posts

Is anyone planning to get married at Beach Palace or Hyatt Ziva in Cancun Mexico? If so, do you have an idea of room rates for you guests during their stay? We are planning our wedding for November 2017 at either of these locations, but we want it as affordable as possible for our guests.

Thanks in advance!

Hi! These 2 resorts were our final 2 choices too! Our wedding is in June so it's not "peak" season so I don't know what that will do to the rates. But we are going through a travel agent and the Hyatt Ziva ended up being less which surprised me because I thought it was a much nicer resort!

The first quote I got had Beach Palace at $796 per person for a 2 person room for 3 nights (includes airfare and transportation to/from airport). Same deal for Hyatt Ziva except the quote was $695pp. I think both are very reasonable for an all-inclusive vacation at a stunning resort.

Hope this helps!

Those were my final 2 choices too! We are booked for the Hyatt Ziva November 3, 2017. We got 3 nights $581 and $185 additional nights. The Beach Palace was more expensive, and in the end, the larger selection of restaurants & bars helped along with the price in our selection! Good luck and congratulations!!

HI everyone!

Wanted to ask your opinion since you are considering/have chosen Ziva as your destination. We are visiting in November to make a final choice between Ziva and Palace resorts. My communication with Ziva has been so HORRIBLE I am considering not even going. I'm not talking about delayed e-mails or being a diva about response time... This lady has repeatedly e-mailed me with conflicting answers, a new person responds to an e-mail who I have never spoken to, or they (obviously) don't read the e-mail and continue to ask me the same questions/demand the same information that I have already provided. It's driving me crazy.

Anybody else deal with this?? The lady's name is Ivonne.

@@motevoli - yep. That's what everyone is dealing with. In my experience so far, it's both the wedding department and the groups department. So it's definitely an added stress but I knew that going in but chose it anyway because it's such a gorgeous resort. For what it's worth, my travel agent acts like all resorts are pretty bad about that stuff but I think the Ziva is worse than others. I have noticed that they're a bit better now that I actually have my deposit down though.

@@rebeccarpeck1 - is that rate through a travel agent? If so what company are they using? My TA is using FunJet and quoted us $748 per person for 2 people for 3 nights in June.

Hey there!!
You have two really good options here. Hyatt Ziva is quiet new, but they are doing a really good job at wedding planning and ceremonies. The resort is beautiful, ask for the Sky Gazebo for your wedding ceremony.
About Beach Palace, they know their job, always a good one. They offer just one wedding a day, that's important.
You should see the view from the sky wedding terrace, you have a 360 degree view of Cancun.
Take a look at my photography job, I have taken some really good pictures at Hyatt Ziva and Beach Palace.
I have everything cover. Just take a look, you are going to love it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
