That's brilliant! I'm so glad that the information was useful for to you, and I agree it would be nice to have some time to yourself.  What country are you from as I have a contact she is a travel agent and Sandos's wedding specialist that is able to help if you are from USA or Canada. She is licenced to book rooms/block rooms and flights. You might have already spoken to her to be honest. She isn't really helpful to me with the flight side of things as I live in England. She would be able to give you quotes and room prices & flights prices. Let me know if you would like her details. I emailed Gaby last week & I was told that you can't book the package without booking a room, strange!

I was looking at a June date, but I can imagine all months are popular. What month did you pick originally? It's a shame that you didn't get the date you wanted but I am glad you have a date booked and everything is moving forward for you :)

That package does look lovely and yes you can always add to it.

I have only contacted Gaby does answer questions, she gets back to me around 2 days later , but I appreciate she must be really busy, Maria too. The wedding specialist I spoke about earlier gave me an email address for Maria but when I emailed her I got an email back to say contact Gaby. I don't think I will get to speak to Maria until I book a package which is a shame.

That would be brilliant if you could forward the "kit" to me as it would be really useful. Thank you so much for that  :D

I'm from Canada, but we did already find an agency here that was wonderful and helped us book and put a deposit down already :) thanks so much though! That does seem really strange!! that's too bad you have to wait until you book your flights to book your wedding :(

Oh perfect, that may not be one of their busy months so that is good :) I was looking at November and other dates in October but we are happy with our date now!

Oh okay, yes i spoke with Maria at first and she gave me details about some of the packages but lately it's just been Gaby now.

Sure! They are on Google drive and I couldn't figure our how to attach them in here but if you send me your email I will forward the documents to you!

Hi @@Hbinning!

Sandos Playacar is a really good Resort, they really know their job at weddings, no regrets.

The gazebo is great option for the ceremony and i suggest you may be want to include the lighted dance floor for the reception at the beach.

The Resort has some really good amenities for the little ones of your family, so its a win, win for the little ones and grown ups. You and your guests are going to enjoy your time there.

Let me show you some of photography job right there at Playa del Carmen. We really have so much fun before, during and even after your BIG DAY.

take a look at it and enjoy every single moment of this journey :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
