Rsvp Through Travel Agent

Hello,

 

I am sending out my invitations soon, and I had a few questions on the RSVP process. Since it is a destination wedding, for me it seems like once people have paid for their trip they are going. With the travel agent, they would like guests to put a $100 deposit down by August, and then they can pay in full by January.

 

So far on the invites it has her contact information, and then it also directs everyone to go to my wedding website for more details.

 

My question is, how do I word the RSVP process on my wedding website? For people who aren't going, how do they let me know that they won't be able to attend?

@@natalie009 I'm doing my own RSVP, however, I'm in close connect with my TA who's been informing me whenever someone books. I just feel it works better for me that way. I feel more on top of it, or, if they forget to send back the RSVP, I already know.

I just received a wedding invitation (not destination) and they used the website https://rsvpify.com/From a guest perspective it was very easy to navigate! 

 

For my wedding I had a RSVP card with the invitation sent in the mail. MY RSVP date is March 8th 2017, BUT the deposit date is July 13th 2016. I left the RSVP date later in case people could book last minute. It is kind of a catch 22. My travel agent also keeps me updated once or twice a week of new people that have put down deposits. I have only received about 1/3 RSVP cards back so far.

I had an RSVP card printed (and figured I could use the TA bookings as well) but then realized that I would need meal selections from guests attending so I set up an RSVP section on my website at weddingwire.com. Guests that can't come typically return the RSVP card. Those that are coming typically use the website or if my TA notifies me, I can then remind them to go online to pick their meals as well. It's working very well so far.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
