On mine it's DJ (Disco) 375 with 16.5% entertainment fee. But I'm pretty sure the 375 is 2016 rate. But I confirmed with my coordinator that that's the right DJ. Did you get 2017 rate prices?

Lol well looks like my coordinator is behind the times I'll have to get the updated list. I'd assume it would be the DJ with sounds system. The other may just be an MC type deal

Hi everyone,

Are any of you bringing your own decorations etc? For example for the table centre pieces or using a local flower shop for bridesmaid bouquets?

I'm curious how much will be organized on your own.

Thanks!

Hi @@Mzt247,

I actually just emailed my coordinator last night asking prices for a few centerpieces that I like in the booklet she sent me. Depending on how much they are will determine if I bring my own or use theres. I am bringing my own chair ties though, they charge $4 per chair but I can get them so much cheaper online.

Okay, so my wedding coordinator got back to me. The centerpieces I asked her about are $65 and $50 each. So I'll be bringing my own. I'm planning on having to use at least 8 tables so those prices are way over my budget.

Thanks so much for all of the information! @@tiffanyt

Will your chair ties be used for the reception or on the ceremony chairs? Our ceremony will be at the skylounge which I noticed in the photo didn't have any chair ties.

Wear are you getting your ties?? I'm doing the same thing. I just got the floral booklet so I'll have to ask for prices bow...i didn't think they'd be that high :( I only want something small

I did book a big day preview ! Won't be going til October but I'll be sure to gather everyone questions before then!

@@Mzt247 I'm definitely using them for the ceremony, haven't decided if I want to use them for the the reception yet, but I probably will. I'm also having mine at the sky lounge and since I'm not doing much else for decor other than what is included and rose petals to line the aisle (which I'm also bringing) then I wanted to add something else so I think the chair ties will be a good addition.

@@Kcusack89 I haven't ordered them yet because I'm not sure how many to get but I've been looking at a few of the sites that former brides have suggested

ebay

http://www.weddinglinensdirect.com/

I've also done a few google searches and found some reasonable prices on other sites as well!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
