Hi @@Mangosong! I'm a 2017 bride! My wedding is on April 23. I'll be getting married at the Hyatt Ziva in Montego Bay, Jamaica. So far most everything has been booked. I have paid for the room block, booked my photographer, and my travel agent is currently working on our site for our guests book their rooms, our wedding website is pretty much done, just waiting on the room block site to be live so I can add that link to it.

I am in the process of working on my save the dates, I hope to get them out within the next 2-3 weeks.

@@tiffanyt Hi!

Eep! I feel like I'm a little behind! Our wedding is March 20th at the westin playa conchal. I need to pay for my room block. But I'm waiting on our contract and my travel agent is away until May 3rd. Our wedding website is done except for the rooms/pricing. Our STDs hopefully go out this week. Need to book my photographer asap!!!

Hello all I just got engaged and our goal is to have a wedding in Cabo

We want the Rui palace but we just found out they will be closed 8/16-12/16 for renovation. The Gazebo we want may not be available... They can't guarantee it! Ugh

Any other suggestions?!?!?

I'm a 2017 bride as well with my date being January 21st. We booked the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya. I'm full force planning mode as we just passed our deposit date for our guests to book their spot. So far we have 48 guests attending.

My date is May 19, 2017. We chose to switch after some original planning to Majestic Elegance Punta Cana from Hard Rock Punta Cana. HR wasn't communicating all that well and their pricing kept going up with extra charges.

Majestic has been a breeze and they are answering every email that day or by noon the next.

We are waiting to do the block and booking until July when flights are available... This is after many talks with our guests who won't commit until the full price is available and not only hotel. So I told my fiance we can just make our deposit due date labor day. We will be sending out STD this month that will have info for the website. Time is moving quick!!

@@MaraO good luck! Are you looking for an all inclusive? Adults only?

@@Kcusack89 The vendors being on "island time" is one of my biggest issues. Getting a response from the wedding coordinator... My photographer... My DJ is pretty on top of things (so far), but we can't give him answers until the coordinator gets back to us!

Our STDs went out and our travel agent is supposed to update our website on monday with the pricing, etc.

My invites are decided on except the font.

Videographer, photographer, entertainment, resort, notary, wedding coordinator and travel agent booked.  Now having major issues on relaying the info to my guests need a reliable FREE website.

@mention

 how did you do your website, what company did you go with and how much did it cost?  We attempt to use WIX spent 2 months entering info, uploading pic and lost everything....someone then suggested Wordpress and did not have much luck either....so need help  since everything is confirmed we just need to relay info to guests somehow.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
