Hi @@Hola20162,

I used wedding wire. It's free and very easy to use. All the information my guests need is on it. I did pay for a custom url thought, only because I didn't want to have a long url on my STDs and invites.

Hello fellow 2017 DW brides!!! I'm getting married on March 7, 2017 on the Sky Deck at the Azul Sensatori in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Our ceremony, reception and welcome dinner venues are booked, we have selected a photographer and placed our deposit, and we have chosen our menu choices for each event. I also bought my dress.

Invites have been sent and our deposit deadline is in less than two weeks. YIKES!!! I am eager to get a rough headcount so I can begin DIYing.

Of course, none of the above has been without some drama. Like many other brides, I am attempting to keep cool under pressure - celebrate the victories and quickly get over the disappointments.

So glad to have found this website. It's been a wealth of information/ideas and has been a wonderful support in times of stress/disappointment. I look forward to sharing with all of you as we ride this DW rollercoaster together!

@@LeanneP congrats! My biggest advice to you is once you get past your deadline is to remember more people will inevitably book after your deadline. I starting diying right after our deadline and bought a few extra of everything but now I'm having to go back and buy even more because more people keep on booking lol. I've run into a couple of issues with this because some of the stuff I ordered had minimum quantities and now I don't meet the requirements to purchase. We were incredible shocked and touched with how many people chose to come. We were expecting 20 and are now up to 51.

Hello all I just got engaged and our goal is to have a wedding in Cabo

We want the Rui palace but we just found out they will be closed 8/16-12/16 for renovation. The Gazebo we want may not be available... They can't guarantee it! Ugh

Any other suggestions?!?!?

Setting up a small arch on the beach. Have the hotel coordinator set up ideas and take photos of them to send to you.

Hope this Helps ; )

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
