Hey everyone, I'm in need of some advise.

My wedding is not until April 2017 but I already have my venue booked...therefore I have the location, date and time. The dinner is buffet style, so there are no menu options to pick from. I'm just wondering, if I have all of this info, should I just do the invite and call it a day? Is it too soon to send the invite? I'd just like to avoid extra money on another item (STDs) if I don;t have to.

Thanks so much for the feedback!

Electronic save the dates may be a good option for you. I used greenvelope.com and it was really reasonable. They have cute design choices and we were able to add our logo and even a song.

@@RoxRoy2015 I would skip save the dates, that's what I did. We had all of our info within a month of being engaged. Since our deposit deadline was pretty soon after we booked we just sent out electronic invites through paperless post and to be honest I think our guest appreciated the early notice and all the info.

I am considering doing a Save the Date/wedding invite all together with loads of information. We plan on keeping to wedding pretty small so sending out Save the Dates and having everyone book their hotel and flights early and then sending out formal invites a few months prior to the wedding just doesn't make sense to me LOL! Plus it will cut costs and ensure everyone who is definitely coming to get their deposit down on the hotel early so my fiance and I can budget accordingly.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
