I picked May as it seemed slightly out of peak as the prices of the hotel drop between April and May. I've chosen the end of May which I hope isn't as busy. I'd be fine with that  as long as your weddings don't clash if that makes sense. I just hope the locations that I want are available otherwise I'm going to have to start all over again.

Hey Ladies!!

 

I am joining this thread because I secured my date with the Royalton for March 10, 2017! We paid the deposit and said what we wanted, but it seems they don't work out the fine details until right before the event... 45 days I think it said. That leaves me slightly stressed! 

 

Any other information when you visited the resort? How was the food? Any recommendations? 

 

We are doing the chapel for ceremony and sky terrace for reception with cocktail on the beach after ceremony. You said there is a special spot off the chapel for cocktail hour?

Hi ladies !!! I am getting married May 11, 2017!!!! I booked my wedding date on May 11, 2016 and it was difficult as they only do 3 weddings / day and almost everything was booked up that week!! Luckily we got the week we wanted ! We could only get a 12:00 pm ceremony time but then there was a cenceltarion luckily and we have a 3:00pm ceremony and 6-11 reception on the beach ! I originally wanted the chapel and sky terrace but due to most likely having 70-80 people I have booked the beach for both instead ! Luckily my step mom is a travel agent and has blocked off 30 spots with sun wing from Toronto and Calgary (apparent sunwing is out of group bookings for the hideaway side and running low on the royalton - must be all the weddings !) my fiancé is British so his family has booked this Thomson ! I'll be sending my invitations out (made my own boarding pass invites) at the end of this week!

My wedding coordinator at the resort and her name is Randi ! We have decided to do a plated dinner, have any of you tried the food options ? Any recommendations ? I am so so excited ! Happy planning !!!

Hi everyone!

 

I have booked through Thomsons too! We booked in the 25th April and are still awaiting confirmation of our wedding date!! We're flying out June 2nd 2017 for 2 weeks, just hope to hear from them soon as I am getting a little worried about the date not bring available.

 

If anyone has got the price list for the hair salon they could send me that would be great!! shnicholls92@hotmail.co.uk thank you!!

Hi Sam,

 

I sent my Wedding Contract back on 22nd April and still awaiting the confirmation of our wedding date. Glad I'm not the only one who seems to be in limbo. I'm very worried about not getting the date and the hotel being booked up, as we are looking at 3rd week in May. I've got a price list for the salon I can email over.

It looks as if if you book direct you get confirmation the next day! A little worring! We have been waiting since April too!

 

How many guests do you have attending? What are your plans for your big day?! :-D

I am flying out the 14th June 2017 for two weeks, though I am also waiting on my confirmation from the start of May. So frustrating as I am unable to order invites. Hotel looks amazing and cannot wait until we go :) x

Hi There Everyone!

 

I am brand new to this site and so happy I found it. Im from Toronto and am expecting 30-40 guests for November 2017

 

We chose a destination wedding to make things easier than doing it at home and its already starting to be a little stressful lol.

 

The dates we wanted seem to be booked up... I am thinking of doing the wedding on the sky terrace but I am worried about the heat at that time of night as my fiance believes it would be better to do it in an air conditioned room... he makes a good point??

 

Has anyone had a wedding there or know someone doing a reception there? Was the heat an issue for anyone?

 

Also...

 

Could anyone provide photos of the Nautica Beach Bar reception?

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
