"buyers Remorse"

Not really. Sometimes I wish I would have done bubba mugs over tumblers. Or a different centerpiece hahah which are so lame to

even think about so really no, I wouldn't have changed a thing

I haven't had my wedding yet, and I am very happy with how it's turning out so far, but I would have looked into off-resort venues. I didn't realize this was an option until it was too late. I don't know if I would have found anything better or cheaper, as I didn't investigate (didn't want to regret my choice!), but I think it's worth looking into.

I'm not sure this would have made a difference at all but I wish we a. included an rsvp card with our STD and/or b. placed the booking deadline on the actual STD.

I also wish I didn't procrastinate so much with the planning lol So much left to do and such little time.

There isn't much that I regret. There were a few small hiccups the day of, but those are pretty unavoidable and they generally go unnoticed. I do wish that I spent a bit more time on myself the day of the wedding. We waited a bit too long to start my hair and we ended up rushing through it in the end. On that note, I also wish I wore my hair completely up. The mexican heat/humidity and the week of saltwater on my hair made my hair very soft and unable to hold curls the day of the wedding. That was one thing that I definitely wish I did differently.

Don't think there's anything really that I regret except maybe that friends and family had been with us when we got married. But we had them all at our AHR so it worked out ok.

@@tiffanyt we didn't send invites lol seemed redundant when most our guests had already booked...

I felt it was silly to send invites when we sent a save the date and included our website that had all the details people needed. Only one person messaged us last week and said "wait, when is your wedding and should I book soon?" This person clearly lost the STD or never read the website. He also lives across the country from us so we aren't in constant communication with him.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
