I'm actually trying to book only a wedding dinner but it doesn't seem like their packages are flexible. How's the wedding coordinator?

We are strongly considering it! I'll let you know if we follow through - looking at Dec 2016 though so quite a while after you!

I am! I'm getting married there December 3, 2016!

@@DLS2016 Since you're getting married first you'll have to keep me posted!

@@Harper370 The wedding coordinator has been SO helpful and my wedding is still 10 months out.  With her help I've picked the package, the reception dinner, the dj, photographer, etc.  She answers emails in great detail and said that in the two months leading up to the wedding is when you'll have the most contact ironing out all the details.

I was actually able to get in contact with the coordinator and she's wonderful! They have been very helpful organizing everything we need.

We are going with an outside vendor for our flowers because they had only roses when I looked.

We are going with the resort photographer who is wonderful. Very quick response.

Anyone using their spa for hair?

I have been communicating with the wedding coordinator through my DW coordinator. Everything has been good so far. I am using an outside vendor for makeup because the resort does not offer airbrush makeup. They waived the vendor fee for that.

What vendor are you using for flowers? Also what is the vendor fee for that service? I received an information booklet with more then just roses so maybe contact the resort again and ask about the flowers they offer.

I can't believe it's only 5 months away!! I can't wait!

@@Harper370 I'm going to use the spa for both my hair and makeup. No idea how it'll turn out! They do a hair trial as well so that's good.

Anyone getting married in the Catholic Church? If so are you getting married in the states first for legal reasons?

@@Harper370 we are getting married in the states first. It's cheaper, plus no blood tests and addition wait time. :)

Also I am using Yucatan Hair/ Besos Brides for hair and makeup! They have very reasonable prices!!

    • We just had a destination wedding and both my girls were flower girls!  The dresses from princessly were perfect!  Lots of complements! Would definitely recommend them!  Very reasonably priced.
    • I just want to say I got the best flower girl dresses on Princessly. It was very reasonably priced, they customized the dress to fit my daughter and it came within a couple of weeks. My daughter looked amazing and so did her cousin (who also wore the dress). The company was so easy to deal with and I’m so happy I chose them! Here are a couple of pics!
    • Hello, I'm new to this site. I got engaged already and get married by next year. I have some doubts regarding our dating destination. Hope you will help me. Thank You!
    • Hello everyone,
Well, this upcoming valentine's day is special for me because I got engaged and planning to spend the day with my fiance. I'm planning to give her an ethical jumpsuit.

Other than that I have been searching the internet for some nice discounted coupons and searched among my friends and found different sites. Now, we are looking forward to that wonderful day. We searched a lot and found out, Escape The City. Orangeville is a great place for a day trip or weekend gateway from Toronto.
Theatre Orangeville is offering a weekend package that includes 2 tickets to a Live performance at the theatre, Premium Overnight Accommodations at Best Western Plus Orangeville Inn and Suites and $75 Downtown Wine and Dine Voucher which is valid at select Downtown restaurants, and Free Entry to the scenic Trails & Bridges of Island Lake.

We are so excited and eagerly waiting for that day.
If anyone has got any other suggestions for the venue, kindly share your thoughts/ideas.
      Thank You!
