Welcome!

No recent brides that I can think of. If you use the search bar above you may find something and also make sure to check out the reviews section.

We had a couple I can think of - ocean Patricia, iberostar Varadero and Laguna azul

I just got home from our first anniversary trip to Melia Varadero. It was very nice. There was a wedding while we were there. The outside area is beautiful but it rained so they had to move it inside. They did a good job decorating the ballroom for her.

Good luck.

@Jennal412  One thing I'll add.... and a lot of the brides here have had the same concern - I would take what's on Trip Advisor with a grain of salt. it's a simple fact that you can't please all of the people all of the time, and some people just have nothing better to do with their time than complain. Unless every single review is absolutely horrible, then I would ask your travel agent if she has sent any other wedding groups there and if they would be willing to provide a review.

Def trust the reviews of the people you know over trip advisor as Ann said. I scour those before choosing a resort and sometimes laugh after at what people complain about :) let us know what you decide

@Jennal412  I would go with those reviews. That says a lot more than people complaining on trip advisor. And yeah what Kim (@calgarybride2015) says...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
