@@rebeccarpeck1 Thank you so much for referring us to Love and Lace! I contacted them and her email states that the delivery cost can be cut in half if I know someone else ordering around the same time and location! Perhaps we can mention to her that we both will be ordering?

Photopro was suppose to show up on our first day of our Big Day Preview and rescheduled to the following day. The next day they did not show up nor did I get a follow up email. I eventually emailed them and didn't get a response until a couple of weeks later. We finally decided to pass the extra vendor fee and go with FineArtStudio https://fineartstudioweddings.com/

Hi Everyone, I'm a newbie and am about to pay my deposit for an April 29, 2018 wedding at the Hyatt Ziva! We could have up to 50 people, so we're going with the Lavish and Opulent package. As of right now I'd like everything to be on the Sky Gazebo/Terrace, but I'm having trouble finding pictures. Does anyone have any suggestions for venues? I don't really want to be on the beach, but I'd like to be able to see the water.  I'm realizing that the cost will add up with DJs, decorations, photos and $85 per every guest over 20 (am I missing anything else not included?).  I've always wanted to have a destination wedding in Mexico because it's beautiful, but really the whole point was that I wanted to spend less than 10K since we'll be spending so much on the resort and air fare. What did most people end up spending on the entire wedding? Is less than 10K reasonable for 50 person wedding?

Thanks in advance!

How much was it for DJ encore? I can't seem to get a good quote from the DJs.

I am new here. I read the thread and loved all of the advice, pictures and information that everyone shared. I'm looking to book my wedding at Hyatt Ziva within the next two weeks. I finally decided this resort as my wedding venue and trying to finalize a date. I was looking into October/November 2018 and am really nervous about the hurricane season.

I am looking into the Hyatt Ziva Cancun as well, can anyone tell me about the menu options for the ceremony?  Any tips on what to ask for with this venue?  What have you learned during this extremely challenging planning process?  I would like live music during the ceremony and cocktail hour, then probably a DJ for the reception.  I am grateful for all feedback, I am so overwhelmed.

Thank you in advance..

What did you think of the Fine Art Studio? How was the pricing?  Any advice on working with the vendors?  Do you need a significant amount of flowers and decor for the venues? Are you paying a $500 vendor fee for the decorations and DJ?  Sorry, so many questions. However I'm learning quickly that there is a lot of 'fine print' that can be missed and needs to be managed in a destination wedding..Thank you!

Hey Everyone! We got our professional wedding pics back. Here's the album. We did a trash the dress session which we definitely recommend too! At least now you can see what a wedding looks like there. We were looking for pictures alllllover the internet and could only find pics of wedding when it was the other hotel. Hope this gives you some ideas! Make sure you click on view more pics to see them all.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
