Bluebay Grand Esmeralda Wedding

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am starting to plan my destination wedding for April 2017 I have been searching for a nice yet reasonable price for my guests.

After my sister and I have done a lot of research we came across Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda in the Riviera Mayan.

I am wondering if any brides out there can give me any feedback/tips/pictures or any helpful resources that will help with my planning.

or even if any brides who had destination weddings in the Riviera Mayan any feedback or suggestions would be very useful :)

Thank you!

-Amanda

@@Amandasequeira Congrats on your engagement and welcome to BDW. There's lot of great info here. Make sure to search for planning threads and reviews of your resort. Have you booked there, or still making your decision?

I stayed at BB Grand Esmerelda in April 2015. Just as a regular guest, not related to a wedding. If you want any details, please let me know.

@Amandasequeira  Congrats and welcome to the site! @@vancouverpetunia is totally right - there is a ton of information here that is sure to help you through your planning journey and the ladies here are more than willing to share!

I found one thread that you can read through, but also do a search up top by typing in the resort name and you can see other things that come up. Definitely do some reading. A lot of times questions that the brides have are already answered somewhere within a thread, and you will likely also see other details that will help you out.

Do you have a travel agent that you're working with? If not, the owners of this site are destination wedding specialists. You can contact them through the site. I know they would be more than happy to help you with things that are important to you as well as working with your price point and the price point for your guests. Sometimes too there are perks available that you might not otherwise get if you aren't working with a destination wedding specialist.

Good luck and happy planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
