Azul Fives By Karisma Brides 2016

@@dinar My husband and I were able to go to the BDR 4 months before our wedding and I thought it was the perfect time to go. I don't think it is necessary but definitely helpful if you can make it work. Initially I thought it would be too close our wedding for it to be helpful but it was just the opposite. Since we had everything picked out already we were really able to nail down the little details. We did a menu tasting, created our own signature cocktail and were able to get a lot of the little questions answered because we already knew what we wanted.

Here are some pics of the beachfront gazebo. It is definitely a very private spot for a ceremony. We used it for photos.

Wow! Great photos! Now I'm very glad I selected that location, looks amazing. :)

Thank you for letting me your thoughts about the BDR. If I go in June, that'll also be around 4 months before my wedding too. Thanks for the advice!

We are Canadians, got married at Azul Fives resort in Dec, traveled with a group of ~100 guests.

After A LOT of research, we decided to hire BB Films to film our wedding (http://www.bbweddingfilms.com/). In our research, we read countless reviews, talked to dozens of past brides, and interviewed numerous vendors… going with BB films was one of the easiest, and ABSOLUTE BEST, decisions we’ve made.

Right from the beginning, Santiago was so genuinely friendly and caring. He also really took the time to get to know us, what we like, what our style is. We had so many skype conversations before the wedding, that by the time we met in person for the first time, we felt like we’ve been friends for ages!

All throughout the planning process, he went above and beyond to work with other vendors, including the photographers. I could not be more grateful to him (and his team!) for being so accommodating and easy to work with.

During the day – Santiago and his team were incredible to work with. They were always there, yet we didn't even feel them! Our photo/video timelines have shifted (and shortened) because of rain, and they seamlessly made MIRACLES happen by ensuring that we were able to get all the video footage we wanted.

They are so friendly, they really know what they are doing and they really care. They are true professionals.

And, of course, the quality of the video... We love our video beyond what words can describe. The team captured magical moments on cameras, and Santiago edited those into the exact picture perfect video I’ve imagined since I was a little girl. He truly created the video of my dreams.

This was the most important day of my life, and I couldn't have been any happier with choosing Santiago and team to help me remember all the details from this day. They are beyond an amazing team, and we couldn't have been more grateful to them. I cannot recommend them enough, DON'T HESITATE to make them a part of your big day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are happy to answer any questions, and even share the highlights video that he created for us. shoot us a note at tanyaplusadam@@gmail.com.

Anyone who's already had their wedding here, can you explain how the room situation works? Do they give wristbands or cards? I am planning on having a few guests attend the wedding who will not be staying at the resort

I just had a conversation with my wedding designer today and she was saying that non-guests does not have to wear a wristband to distinguish between the guests and non-guests. It will mostly be a card thing. That's what they're telling me.

@@hirvine83 @@Sgarc061 Firstly we want to say a big congrats to all the soon-to-be brides on this thread. Azul Fives is such a beautiful resort (probably one of our favorites to photograph at) and you are all going to have such wonderful experiences there.

For those wondering, the Sky Terrace is a great spot for both your ceremony and reception. It's private, offers an increidble view of the Caribbean and the breeze from the water will keep both yourselves and your guests nice and cool on warm Mexican days.

We absolutely love how modern and stylish the rooms are at Azul Fives. They make for wonderful photos

Could these greens and blues be any more picturesque?

If you are planning to have your ceremony in the garden you will love private space and closeness to the beach.

And of course some of the beautiful spaces available for newlywed photos & wedding party photos after your ceremony.

We hope this helps give a better picture of the beautiful spaces available at Azul Fives. We always love an opportunity to photograph a wedding there and eagerly anticipate the next wedding we photograph at Azul Fives.

Hello everyone my name is Teresa.  I am from Houston, Texas.  I'm excited to say that I'm confirmed at Azul Fives on May 12th 2017. My fiancé Armando and I have chose to exchange our vows on the sky deck.  We have chosen the Memorable Moments package and are undecided where to have our reception.  I am very confused on a lot of things.  We are trying to keep the cost down as much as possible and have planed on bringing my own decorations.  If anyone has any cost effective ideas to share with me it will be greatly appreciated.  Also if anyone has any photos to share with me or any out side vendors they could recommend please send that information as well.

Hope to hear from some one soon.

Thank you,

Teresa

Does anyone have pictures of the Wine bar above the French restaurant? Some brides have used this as a "back up" location recently and it looks really nice, however i've only seen one photo. Would be interested to see some more!

Hello everyone! I'm getting married July 2017 and would love some recommendations on a few things. First, I noticed a couple of you said you went with the Always and Forever package due to the size of your party... How many guest did you have? I'm also not sure how long I need a photographer for. Any suggestions? I would really appreciate any tips or advice y'all have to offer. Congratulations and thanks in advance:)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
