@@ashhtayy thanks for your response!!! I will be moving to the Always & Forever package and customizing my own! Are you ready for your wedding!?

Are you carrying your dress with you on a carry on when you fly? I'm scared to send it in a suitcase & it get lost.

Yes @@Rubyy we have chosen Shenko Photography. Their work looks amazing, however they aren't an approved photographer so there will be an $800 fee to pay for them to come into the hotel on your wedding day. To be honest, I don't care because their pictures look so amazing and they reply to emails really fast (I'm in London, England). I can't wait to meet them I feel like I know them already.

Check them out!

@@Rubyy No, definitely not ready but not in a panic - there's still time :) Most of the big things are out of the way at this point but need to set aside sometime to work on the little tedious things.

I am absolutely carrying my dress on - no way I'd put it in a suitcase. I would also be so scared it would get lost. I want to know exactly where it is at all times lol

@@Rubyy I don't know if they have spray tanning but I agree with @@ashhtayy about it rubbing off. I would definitely recommend upgrading to airbrush for your make up. It was pretty hot on our wedding day and I didn't sweat it off at all. Like @@sassylouxx we used an outside photographer as well and paid the outside vendor fee. The fee was expensive but definitely worth it - we absolutely loved our photographers!! We used Photos in Cancun - they were amazing! They were actually guests at our wedding we got along so well. We got the smaller package and invited them to join us for the dinner and reception.  :)

@@KBrown I didn't use the DJs (we made our own playlist and just rented the sound equipment) but I know several brides have and loved them!

Hi Ladies,

We are getting married at Azul Fives on November 29, 2016. We are doing the ceremony and reception on the sky deck!

I was just wondering what the facebook page is called that everyone is trying to join? i tried looking up azul fives and karisma but I can't seem to find one that gives you an option to join.

Also, does anyone have any good photographers/videographers they recommend?

thanks!

For the reception what have some of you done for a head table?

Did you have your bridal party all sit together? I saw they have retangular tables and I was thinking of doing that for the head table then round for the guest. I have 10 people in my party including us, bride and groom, and was thinking about doing the Imperial table for 10 people. Now im thinking it probably sits 10 people, but 5 on each side and not everyone on the same side facing the guests. Hope this makes sense and someone can help.

@@KBrown We have 10 in our bridal party + us. We decided to do three rectangular tables for us and our bridal party and then rounds for our guests. If you look in my gallery I have posted the dimensions of the rectangular, square and round tables.

A few things I've seen...

- sweetheart table and then have the bridal party sit with their significant others.

- brides sit with their groom and his best man and her MOH and have the rest of the bridal party sit with their significant others.

Personal preference really! My girls all said they wanted to sit at the front with Mike and I so that's what we're doing :)

@@ashhtayy thanks for the response. I also want to have the bridal party together but like I said I want us all to sit on one side. Since I'm doing the tables from MM that can be really expensive to have three of them....hmmmm lol

@@ashhtayy hey! Question for you. When you spoke with your wedding designer in the Miami office did she speak good English and did you speak to the actual person you deal with through email?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
