Hello beautiful brides!

I wanted to start a forum to share wedding information about the Cancun resorts managed by Playa Resorts.

I've booked my April 2016 wedding at the Hyatt Ziva opening in Cancun November 2015. It is formerly the Dreams Cancun resort.
 

Here is a photo of one of the wedding venues available at Hyatt Ziva and the Hyatt wedding brochure. I think the venue is going to be gorgeous!

That's a great photo, MissAmber26! Looks like you've chosen well for your wedding venue :)

Hello!

 

I will have about 50 guests. The venues I chose hold 50-60 people but I think they have other options for larger groups. I'd suggest contacting them.

 

Their rates are online at Hyatt.com. My group block rates are the same as the ones online (grand opening special).

The resort looks beautiful!!  How many guests will you have. I am helping a bride plan a wedding and we are considering this resort.  I am waiting to see what the room rates will be.  We will have about 100 people.

I was married at the Grand Caribe in Cancun. We chose Octavio Montes Photography to be our wedding photographer.  Octavio and his staff did such an amazing job capturing our wedding day. It was an amazing experience! My husband and I are absolutely in love with the pictures he took of our special day. Not only did we have a great time while he was shooting our wedding on the beach but we are blown away by how great the pictures turned out. It was so hard to pick our favorites to be edited. He truly helped capture the best day of our lives. These photos will be treasured.

Punta vista terrace which is right next to the sky gazebo. All of my events are in sky gazebo area

Hi Amber,

Did they sent you a pics of all their venues ? Who is weddig specialist? We want to do our wedding in October 2016 but I don't wich venue to pick for the dinner since my wedding coordinator doesn't send me anything:-(

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
