I feel like $1750 from Toronto in May is a great price!

I actually can't remember the cost of the pier but have you searched all the other AF threads? I bet it's in there somewhere. I know the Sky Deck is $1800 & the new beach location is $1000.

What is the size of your group? I think the pier can only hold a smaller group.

Edit -

Did a quick search and found this (still no price but it's probably there if you take the time to read through some threads):

The Sea pier gazebo holds a maximum of 32 people with long tables or 24 with round tables for a plated reception. You also need to add $15 per person to the price of food (food is also on a per person basis but they have a range of prices).

Thanks ladies... I saw all of the information about the number of people, but can't find the price :(.

I find it hard to believe that if it fits 32 for dinner, that it would only hold 32 for a ceremony. I wonder if anyone has squeezed in a few more... I'm looking at about 40 guests, and really dream of my ceremony on that pier. Basically it's the selling point for me!

I'll talk to my planner and see! They just take a bit to respond, especially with Easter Weekend! :)

@@melanderic2017 I just double checked the price and it was $370 (on top of the basic Always and Forever package) in 2014. The price may have gone up since then though.

The pier is a really beautiful spot!! We did all of our bridal party photos there before the ceremony. If you're planning on wearing a veil, I would strongly suggest getting veil weights or possible opting for a hair piece instead. It is VERY windy out on the pier. I would also wear your hair up so that you can see during your ceremony!  ;) I kept asking one of our groomsmen if he needed a hair elastic - lol His hair is in his face in half of those photos.

These are all on the pier:

Beautiful pictures! Thank you SO much for the details about the wind, I'm thinking a headpiece is more alone the lines of what I would go for! Maybe at least a half-updo would help. :)

I just got an update from my planner, she mentioned the maximum of 32 is due to weight restrictions :(

Looks like I may have to look at an alternative ceremony location as I belive my guest count will be over 32.

Thank you so much for the price. My planner left out this detail in her last e-mail. I imagine it's probably about $500 or less then!

I've been looked through the threads... Does the resort have multiple beach wedding locations that you know of? Are any more private than others? I may opt for the sky deck otherwise, since I've heard that the garden gazebo is close to the loud pool??

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
