Beauty! I love all of the florals that you picked - they are so pretty!! I think you could really go either way with the bridesmaid's bouquets. Mine are significantly smaller than my bouquet and at first I was a bit bothered by it, but now i'm happy they are the size that they are.

@perianjay Thank you - I love my flowers too  :) What do you think about the arrangement?  As much as I like it I going to play with it again tonight and see what else I can do.

For the BM's bouquets, I'm really leaning towards 3, but both my sister and best friend say 5... I don't mind the bouquets being smaller, I just think it looks a lot cleaner and really shows off how beautiful the lilies are.  They're big as well, so when there are more put together they can easily squish...

@calgarybride2015 haha you must think I'm nuts... This is what I was thinking.  But I feel like with Christmas stock out now I will have tons of silver ribbon options.

That's what I thought you meant :) it will look great. I don't think you can go wrong with anything. If you find it's kind of see thru just wrap it a couple extra times!

I think that either way they will look good. Personally i'd probably go with five, but only because I always feel like it's not enough (but that's just me in my own head). I only have two full sized peonies in my BM's bouquets and three small buds and I added a bunch of leaves to try to bulk the bouquet up. Are you planning to leave it as is, or are you going to add any leaves?

I'm not much of an expert with Lilies so that could've been a dumb question. They do look nice on their own.

Also, I think the silver ribbon is great! You have hints of silver in your colour scheme right?

Originally I was planning to wrap mine in gold, but they already came pre-wrapped and I ended up loving the jute ribbon.

@perianjay I'm not a flower expert either, I still need to take the flower arrangement course I signed up for.  But I personally wouldn't put any leaves with the lilies.  I only used greenery in my bouquet because of the roses.

I do have hints of silver in my colour scheme, so I think silver is good colour to go with for the ribbon and it won't be clashing with anything ie wrong shade of pink or white

Dee I agree with you, lilies are beautiful on their own and don't need the extra greenery. The great thing about lilies is that they can hold their own, if that makes sense. I have seen bridesmaids walk down with one Lily and it still looked beautiful. Maybe do two sets (one with 3 and one with 5), have one of your bridesmaids (if available) carry them with their dress on. Maybe that will help you decide and envision it better.

And I like the silver ribbon. And if you like, you can add a bit of bling to yours too

I played around a bit more:

It's a bit more circular. Thoughts?

Oh I'm so torn and I'm probably not gonna be too helpful I live your first arrangement because it was unique and I loved how the roses were arranged. However, you couldn't see the calla lilies at all until you looked at it from behind. Your new arrangement is beautiful too though since you can see the beauty of all the flowers. Let me mull over this while at bootcamp lol

Haha you're so funny @Wafflesmom! I've just been playing around, I can't decide. I even tried the lilies in the middle of the roses, but it thought it looked too tall.

I personally like this one better. Not sure if I'm more traditional in the flower sense or if because then you can see all the flowers no matter which direction you are holding it. Both are gorgeous though so can't go wrong either way.
