My colleagues threw me a little surprise get together :) They faked a meeting and a possible early birth to get me into the kitchen lol

I love our place cards too, I'm obsessed with her writing. She also did the "and so the adventure begins" sign and those mugs.

Omg @@snswedding2016 I couldn't believe the effort they went to to pull this off, they were sure that I knew because I generally know everything that's going on lol but my mind has been so sidetracked they got away with it all. Planned a fake meeting while the others set up and then one of my coworkers pretended to receive a text that one of the girls who is pregnant was in trouble, she just said "Christine... Her belly!" And ran and I ran too lol it was amazing. I'm super happy with the progress, can't believe we leave so soon!

@@calgarybride2015 I'm happy to hear you were also calm! It definitely helps to have things organized. Thank you!! I'll be sure to share some pics as soon as I can!

@@ashhtayy honestly a month ago my list seemed really daunting, it scared me. Just start hammering away and the rest falls into place, don't worry! Thanks! I'm so looking forward to our massages!

@@deecol the sisterhood of the traveling Wally bag, I love it! don't you kinda wish you were that bag? Mexico three times in less than 6 months lol. That bag was so awesome to travel with and fit mine and Der's wedding outfits, our shoes and my jewellery.

And your coworkers are so sweet! And her writing is awesome. I'm especially loving those mugs!

Sorry for all the posts but I had to share! This morning the ladies in my spin class planned a "bride ride". They blew bubbles as I walked in, had all wedding themed music, decorated my bike, had a bottle of champagne waiting in my water bottle holder for me and two of the ladies dug out their veils from 30 years ago! One guy even wore a boutonniere! I'm so overwhelmed by all the love and we aren't even in Mexico yet!

Omg Dee, your spin class peeps are awesome! Best way to make a 6am workout fun! And just warning you, the love doesn't stop there, we're still getting wedding gifts and well wishes and it's been almost 3 months since we've been married lol

As for the bag, yes I used it as carry on to Cancun and it fit neatly in the overhead and I wasn't concerned about it at all. Super easy to carry it around and I'm short! Lol We ended up checking it in on the way back home, I wasn't too concerned about lost luggage at that point lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
