Have anyone had a wedding in Puerto Plata here.  What info did you give your guest.

I wonder will they mail me some brochures.

I want to have a information party to give them all the important info  they would need if they want  to join us. I really don't know where to start  Help Please

Welcome

Most people who do a DW have a travel agent who gives you all the info to give your guests. Price, dates, booking deadlines, etc. All travel can be handled thru them if they want to book in your group. If they don't want to book in your group just ensure they have all the info.

A lot of brides give out all this info within an invite or use a wedding website. Most are free and can even track your RSVPs if you want. Take a look at www.mywedding.com to get an idea.

At this point though it sounds like you could use a travel agent to price out your package and possibly get you resort perks and group rates. I think you are in the states and the owners of this site are travel agents - wright travel - and they have a great review on here.

Also reach out to the wedding department at your resort to get their packages and prices to ensure this resort can offer you the wedding you desire in your budget.

I hope I was on track with what you needed :) good luck

@@CandanceWilliams2be Congrats and welcome!

@@calgarybride2015 is right on target I think with her suggestions to you. And definitely Wright Travel are destination wedding specialists and worth looking at for assistance with your planning!

There are quite a few DR brides (past and present) on the site so it would be worth doing some reading and searching through the site for information as well, just by typing into the search bar at the top.

Good luck!

Welcome to the forum Candice and Congrats on your upcoming dw in the DR. There is basically no mail service there, so it's best to get info online or ask them to send you something via email.

Since you're starting your planning process early, you have time to check out a few options - well done :) Yes, this is a great place for wonderful info, advice and support from all the resources here, so you're right about relaxing into the planning process and enjoying it stress-free - very wise :)

Wishing you happy research, and all the best with your plans - cheers!!! team mtm :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
