Hi!

My Fiance and I have started to plan our wedding for April 2017 and are highly considering Akiin Beach Tulum. Would love to hear from other brides who had their wedding at this Venue or from those who are planning to host their wedding at Akiin.

Any other tips and suggestions for vendors in the area are greatly welcomed  :)

@@SuBe everything is outdoors.  Akiin location offers you a more rustic feel and you do not have to do too much decor.   you have a wide stretch of beach.  food is great.  you bring your own vendors no extra fee.  also you can bring your own alcohol with a corkage fee.  I have a file with all catalog and pictures feel free to pm me your email . I can share it with you.

Happy planning

I would highly recommend checking out El Paraiso Beach Club and the Beach front Villa: Hacienda Paraiso. It's such an amazing venue located on the best beach in Riviera Maya.

I started a thread here: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/topic/80196-private-beach-villa-wedding-in-tulum/

and this is my wedding video: https://vimeo.com/142955264

@@SuBe Welcome to the BDW Forums! We hope you feel welcome here, and don't be shy to reach out and ask any questions at all when it comes to planning your destination wedding here in the Riviera Maya. While we have yet to photograph a wedding at Akiin Beach Tulum, we can definitely vouch for how amazing Tulum is in general. The beaches are pristine, the white sand and gentle waves all make for quite the majestic surrounding.

Should any questions come up while planning, don't hesitate to shoot us a message here, via PM, or email info@jasminandmatt.com

Here's a little added inspiration for what kind of beach photos are possible in this part of the world.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
