OMG OMG OMG... somehow I lost 2.5 lbs last week, which takes me to 16lbs total and only 4lbs from my goal. I am super stoked and just had to tell you guys!  :D

Omg well done @vancouverpetunia that's amazing! How did you do it?! Well done!

This week was great for hitting my workouts, eating clean. I maybe struggled to eat enough a couple days being so busy. I lost 0.8lbs this week. Not what I was hoping for but not bad. That makes it 2.3lbs in. 2 weeks. I have 4 weeks left and I still want to drop 5lbs. I somehow don't think it's going to happen though. I had my bachelorette last night and I was actually quite good to not drink too much and limited my snacks but still allowed it to be a cheat night. I intend to be very diligent this week so that the scale doesn't go the wrong way after that cheat night! Might have to start increasing my cardio now to get where I want to be.

You'll do great! You've got to live a little too don't forget! But a good compromise to indulge but to keep your bachelorette is check is fantastic but also surprising - maybe my friends are mean haha jk! What did you guys do?

@yycbride2016 I have no idea how I did it. LOL. I didn't work out as much as usual last week because I had a cold. But also because of the cold (and ongoing teeth issues), I also was eating a lot less. I assume it was just calories in vs calories out. 

 

Good to hear you didn't overdo it at your bachelorette party, but also glad that you had fun. You can't count calories all the time! I'm sure you will still make some progress before your wedding, but what's a pound or two in the scheme of things if you don't get there? You'll be the only one who knows  :D

So I did okay this week, not great, just okay. I'm happy that I am finally back below the 120's but still have about 4 more lbs to lose to get back to where I used to be consistently. My working out and diet slacked this week too. I was just so exhausted for some reason. I think I was maybe eating too little. I'm intending on being so much better tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

@yycbride2016 Make sure you are fueling your body! You don't want to get worn down with so little time left. 

 

After my 2.5 lbs the week before last, I didn't lose anything last week. Not surprising. I've been slacking. Jeff is away on business this week so he won't be here to be a bad influence on me (he often has potato chips in the house which is a major weakness for me) and I can eat whatever healthy stuff I want without having to worry about him (he's kinda picky). Hopefully I will make some good progress.

 

I posted in my planning thread that I tried on a bunch of dresses in my closet and they fit again! I'm really happy about that, since they haven't fit well since at least last spring (every lump & bump would show). I even tried them on at the end of the day and they are still fine. YAY!

@vancouverpetunia.... I did much better with my eating and exercising today but...I'm now sick :(

Update:
I did pretty good this week. Added in a few extra cardio workouts to help cut some fat. I did have a potluck at work for a colleagues wedding, I didn't eat great but I watched the amount I ate. Of course with my soy intolerance I felt like garbage the next day but still kept on tract and did a double workout! I felt pretty off last night after work with a sore throat so I skipped my workout and went to bed early. This morning: full blown cold :( the day before my bridal shower. Looks like I'll be popping cold meds like candy. I did step on the scale though! I'm down another 1.2lbs! Since August I've lost 9.7!! I've pretty much hit my goal of 10lbs but I still want another 3-4lbs! Probably won't happen in 2 weeks but I'll do what I can! How did you ladies do??

@yycbride2016 Congrats on hitting your goal! That is awesome!  :D When do you leave? You are soooo close! I hope you are feeling better by now. 

 

I've lost another pound - 17 down and 3 to go. Crazy. I wore a dress to work this week that I hadn't worn in a couple of years (people thought it was new) and I felt and looked great. Got tons of compliments. Also Jeff has been telling me that I'm looking good, that my butt is smaller LOL and that he's proud of my hard work. Awwwhh shucks  :wub:

 

Now I just have to keep it up. We have so much going on in the next few weeks... tonight is dinner at my cousin's and staying over night at their place, next weekend is my bachelorette party (and my best friend will be here from out of town for the weekend - so we will be out on the town, for sure), the following weekend we're going to a big wine festival, then we have our legal wedding the weekend after that which will definitely involve eating & drinking, I have my shower coming up, etc, etc. Sorry for the big laundry list! I guess my plan is to keep exercising and eat well whenever I am not doing all of these things!

Update: last week was a train wreck for me. I was sick all week and couldn't work out. I hate way too many carbs and then was terrified of stepping on the scale. I'm happy to say I only gained 0.2lbs! Clearly I've revved up my metabolism so one week off wasn't too bad. I'm back at it feeling strong and healthier now. My goal is to try and lose 1lb this week as its my final week before the wedding! It will be tough since I have so ma y appointments and my parents will be around but I'm determined!! Have to look beach ready!!
