@vancouverpetunia- Good point about looking at the menus! We plan to eat in the Mexican restaurant, so I already looked at that menu and decided what I will get. I will have access to the dinner menu earlier in the day before actually going to the dining room, so I will look it over and decide on my meal before I get there and let my hunger override good judgement!

@vancouverpetunia thanks for the well wishes. I will definitely take it easy this week, I don't want to get worse!

@cruisebride2016 you are so motivated and such an inspiration. Great job with all the exercises you've completed. Don't feel bad about being above your calorie goal weight. You've been tracking and being more aware of what you're eating, so that's a great start! And I commend you for planning ahead of time for your cruise. I'm weaker than you and tend to indulge at all the buffets, especially chocolate buffet night! During our last cruise, I made sure I signed up for gym classes and they helped a lot. Because I had to pay for the sessions, it forced me to attend them and I loved that I was actually active while on vacation.

@vancouverpetunia I know!  How frustrating!  We can use this offer of 50/50 at any time, so I'm going to see how I do without it for now...

I went to the gym last night, and then spin again this morning - trying to get it in as much as I can until my membership cuts out.

Is their spin bikes at your home gym you can use and just mimic the program?
That sucks!!! Even at 50% if it offers what you love to do, the cost may be worth it.

@calgarybride2015 There are 2 bikes, I could definitely use them but it's not the same as someone yelling at you for an hour lol.  I feel like at this moment I can't justify the cost when I have a gym in my building... with 50% it's a decent price though so I'm going to see how I get on for the next month or two and decide from there.  Such terrible timing for them to do this, I'm less than 7 months from leaving for Mexico  :(

I'd say given it upsets you and you are 7 months out is justification enough :) one less lunch out or a couple Starbucks makes up the fee. Heheh I'm trying to help (although I have no idea if you eat out or like Starbucks!!)

@calgarybride2015 haha I don't do either but I appreciate the positive thoughts!  :)

I think I'm being stubborn and it's the principal of it - they took something away from us and I don't want to give in... but I guess I'm just hurting myself in the end.  Like I said, I will see how I get on over the next month or two and I can sign up at anytime.

I feel you 100%. Similiar but not the same -- I signed a contract at work for reduced hours daily as I had no childcare for my kids. They took it back and wouldn't even let me take 15 mins less at lunch so I could still get my kids to school (cause taking a 1 hour lunch appears to be mandatory lol). Could I have found care and made it work? Sure but they gave me a contract then revoked it, so I quit. I hated the place anyways -- that was just the final straw hahah.

Ok I've been MIA all week. I haven't been this sick in such a long time. I've had no energy and I swear i'm going to start looking like chicken noodle soup soon haha. Today I felt pretty decent and managed to go out shopping and to Starbucks which means come tomorrow i'm going to try and get back to my healthy eating and exercising. I just found out that I should be able to go pick up my dress in 3 weeks and I have to make sure it still fits so that mean lots of veggies and lots of sweating it up in the gym! Hopefully the gym doesn't destroy me after a week off. Wish me luck!

Also, well done to those of you fighting through every day! You are inspiring me to keep pushing! Keep it up ladies!
