I have one of those!

I have a 3 cup water bottle that holds fruit or limes, etc. at the bottom and filters the flavor thru.

I love it.  I make sure to have 1 before lunch, 1 before dinner, and then 1 after dinner or I can't have my diet pop!

hahaha!

Great tip...as i've just made myself a 2nd coffee for the day haha. I love water thought! I continually fill up my water bottle throughout the day. The more I drink the thirstier I get it seems.

Just thinking, if ever anyone wants fitness or meal ideas check out my instagram @jpaquin. I post food ideas a workouts fairly often on there.

I've been away from the forum this afternoon and have missed so much already.

@@deecol woohoo, you've joined! Sooo glad you're here. With your enthusiasm for working out, I think you'll be such a great resource for everyone when it comes to workout tips. And here's the fist pound for you Way to kill it on your workout!! I love spin and actually really miss my old classes. I used to join my friend's spin class at work but since my schedule changed, I don't go anymore. I've replaced it with Pilates so at least I've replaced it with some fitness activity....but definitely not as fun as spin!

@@yycbride2016 I'm gonna creep your Instagram too! I'd advertise mine but all you'll see are posts of my dog lol. And I love TRX! I attend TRX bootcamp twice a week and it's such a great workout.

@@JoannaBanana, I'm glad you're gonna join but this is honestly not meant to shame anyone. I've just come back from dinner with my family and I had something called "chicken nugget fried rice". And it's as unhealthy as it sounds lol

@@Meandhim I'll check out the 21 day fix. I've done the usage is cleanse twice and that really worked for me. I lost 14lbs on it.

@ I've always been intrigued with aerial yoga. That must work out your abs like crazy! I've been meaning to try barre fitness. Have you heard of it? It's probably bad for your knees though

@@calgarybride2015 great idea with having my mfp profile open. I'm gonna apologize ahead of time for the copious amounts of junk food intake lol

Don't apologize. I eat things I want in moderation. Could you never eat junk again for the rest of your life? No!!!! So enjoy when you can :)

I so envy you ladies and I think what you're doing with this thread is awesome! Maybe sometime I'll be able to look at joining but for the time being it's a no go for me from a fitness perspective. I used to be into track and so on when I was much, much younger but running is completely off the table for me now. I miss it. I can barely manage 5 minutes on the treadmill we have and by the time I walk up from the train station to work (if I force myself not to take the subway) I'm so out of breath I have to sit for several minutes before I do anything. I have arthritis in my back, osteoarthritis in both knees, bursitis in my right hip, calcified tendonitis in my left shoulder and both elbows messed up with tendonitis. I get shots in both knees every four to six months and have just had the second shot in 2 months in my left shoulder. I've gained so much weight since I turned and passed age 40 but until then I didn't have a weight problem. I also quit smoking six years ago after 39 years. A good thing for sure but a bad thing when it comes to weight. I work so many hours right now that when I get home at night after a 14 hour day, any form of exercise is the furthest thing from my mind. And I also have a love affair with food. I agree - it tastes SO good!!!

Definitely for you ladies with knee issues, cycling and swimming are the two most recommended activities because of the low impact but if you are going to take part in other activities, a knee brace to support the joint is recommended. Being buoyant in the water allows you to do exercises in the water that don't affect your joints but can still give you a good workout.

I will most definitely root for all of you! It sounds like everyone has very realistic goals that aren't unattainable by any means and if you support each other I'm sure you'll all get to where you want to be. The important thing is don't be hard on yourselves if you don't. Young women are so conditioned to being part of an "image" that is either not healthy or completely unrealistic or both. It doesn't sound like any of you fall into that category though!

Good luck to each of you. I'll keep lurking to see how things are going and no matter what, you're all going to be gorgeous brides! Just remember that!

    • Paradisus is actually notorious for doing this and we have to fight with them all the time to get the rates lowered. Are you using a TA to assist you?
    • Moon palace cancun offers Sikh priest. Janina Mendoza in weddings was very nice and able to help me.. suggest to contact her.
    • First of all congrats!!! Costa Rica is a magical place for a wedding  Are you working with a travel agency for your rooms? If not, I would highly encourage you to do so because an agent can often help you get in contact with the wedding department to get that conversation/communication going. I would suggest working with Wright Travel Agency, the official agency of this forum. These agents are specialist in destination weddings and have access to great promotions and group perks in addition to being able to secure the best rates for your group. Best of all the agency does not charge any fees to use their service, but it will take a load off your plate not having to worry about arrangements for travel for you and your guests. Shoot an email over to info@wrighttravelagency.com and one of the team members will get back to you and get the ball rolling for your group and the wedding department! Best wishes!!!
