I didn't go to spin this morning :(  I went for a nap around 7pm yesterday, woke up for an hour when Col got home and slept until 7am this morning.  I have some family stuff going on and it's stressing me out a bit more than I thought it did... It's making me physically sick... I'm going to try to turn that energy into fuel to workout.

 

@@deecol Sorry to hear that. I hope everything gets sorted out! Sometimes you need some down time to let your body heal - both mentally & physically.  :(

@@deecol - sorry to hear you are having family issues. Really hope things get sorted and you feel better soon X

 

I have been okay diet and food wise however had my legal ceremony yesterday so had the day off. Back on track today and will check the scales later xx

Well, ladies, it's my pre-Thursday check-in time. @@Wafflesmom I hope you are continuing to feel better! @@maybeoneday Congrats on "being legal"! You are so close to your wedding day now! Sorry if I am missing some of the earlier posts.. I haven't really been able to keep up this week. 

 

Accomplishments this week:

  • Started new fitness plan - have done 4 of the 6 workouts for the week. Yahoo!
  • Started new nutrition plan - planned my menu for the week, prepped a bunch of stuff on Sunday, have been eating super healthy and staying on track all week. 
  • Set up My Fitness Pal and have been tracking workouts & food.
  • Updated wedding web site. 
  • Booked honeymoon flight (Cancun to Costa Rica). So excited!

Goals for the next week:

  • Complete my 2 workouts left for this week and stay on top of it next week.
  • Watch what I eat over the weekend. We tend to go out A LOT and I don't want to really curb that too much, as we enjoy it. But try to make healthier choices and cut back on the booze. This is gonna be tough.
  • Get my meal plans & food prep lined up for next week.
  • Send out update email to guests.
  • Send out formal invitations - or at least get the labels done and buy stamps.

It's been a good week for staying on track. I'm feeling pretty optimistic about my longer term goals to tone my upper body and drop a dress size. Hope you are all having a great week as well!

Thanks ladies! I'm very excited to part of this group.

 

I actually started my workout 2 days ago, I'm doing Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. I've done it a few times before so I know I will get results. After that I think I will move on to Jillian Michaels Body Revolution which is for 90 days, I started it in the past but never completed.

 

Trying to think more about what I eat and will start my healthier eating next week so I can plan how I'm going to go about it.

 

@@maybeoneday I'm getting married 26th April 2016. You're getting married so soon though, you must be so excited!

Happy to say that although I haven't worked out since Spin on Monday morning, I have been consistent with my diet and haven't gained any weight.  I guess it helps that when I'm stressed I don't have much of an appetite.  I'm doing weights tonight, spin tomorrow morning and have a weekend with not too many plans ahead of me that I can squeeze some great workouts in.  Maybe it's the break my body & mind needed....

 

@@SunshineDreamKay Welcome!!!  As you can see the ladies are so supportive :)  Your goals sound great - let me know about your results after the 30 day shred.  We're getting married 4 days apart!

So I've gained three pounds since we started this thread. LOL. I finally went for a morning walk today and I kept my food on point yesterday. I could feel my knees bothering me yesterday which happens when I'm too chunky. We're not going down that path again friends.

@@JoannaBanana hahaha omg you are so funny!  I think fluctuating a couple lbs in completely normal.  Don't worry, we can do laps around the new Sherway Michael's when it opens!
