I'm down another .4 which is great since I went hog wild last Saturday lol (birthday party with cake, movies with popcorn - you get the idea). I am at 7.4 total I believe....

This is the week I start training for my other job... so my morning gym routine is going bye bye!!!!  Going to take a lot to get me to the gym in the evening, especially with my school work but I plan to commit to twice a week...

Diet will be spot on.

Have a great week ladies.

So I weighed in today (a day late) and I'm down 0.8 since I did my 3 day quick fix. It might not sound like a lot but I'm super happy with that considering the week I had. Today I did really well with diet and exercise (leg day). Even though we had cupcake tasting I was very good with it. We had 4 cupcakes that we divide 3 ways and I only ate a portion of each piece I got. (I case your curious we are getting coconut cupcakes with coconut icing/ and vanilla cupcakes with cream cheese icing!) feeling good! Even bought some new jeans!!

Love me some cupcakes. Dare I ask where this one is, as a fellow calgarian? I've not found a place yet that beats Crave but always open to try :) @@yycbride2016

Ohh and love coconut cupcakes :)

Good job!

Hi ladies - Have not checked in for 2 (?) weeks! I was away for work from Tuesday to Tuesday. First time in my life that I booked hotels based on gym facilities lol. Last week managed to get all my workouts in but one. Was pretty pleased with that. Def did not stick to diet - but had some amazing dinners in Chicago! And I was really good with my breakfasts - buying yogurt and fruit from grocery stores rather than eating hotel breakfasts. I actually managed to still lose about .5 lb!

It's been hard trying to get organized since I got back on Tuesday. But managed to get some food prep done that afternoon and also did 4 workouts this week (should be 6). Not great but not bad. Life happens, right?

This weekend we are taking 3 days off together (we usually only get 1 day). So it's a bit of a mini break and definitely indulging more than I should. But we are knocking things off the wedding to-do list. Today bought our bands and registered at The Bay. And walked 6km to get there :) but then treated ourselves to wine and dinner at the Keg. Yum. So def hit and miss.

Prepping to get back into the swing of things next week and sticking with it until the next biz trip in mid November. Hope everyone is doing well. I haven't really kept up with posts so hope I haven't missed anything big. Did someone mention protein crepes? Can you send the recipe?

@@vancouverpetunia well done on staying on track while traveling. That's not easy. And to lose 0.5lbs doing that is awesome! Well done.

Crepe recipe:

-1/4 cup egg whites

-1/4 scoop of protein powder

(Mix And cook like a pancake or crepe)

Put 1/4 cup of plain Greek yogurt mixed with vanilla extract and Stevia mixed inside the crepe once finished cooking and top with desired fruit.

Hi Ladies,

I'm sorry I've been MIA for the last week... sadly, my Nonno passed away suddenly on Wednesday.  It's been a long, draining week and my diet is horrendous - I've been eating at random times, eating out and just plain eating junk/comfort food, along with drinking... I've come down with a really bad cold now form being so run down and finally back at work today.  Although I have the motivation in my head to exercise, I can't breathe through my nose so I can't wait to feel better and get back at it,  We are less than 6 months from when we leave for Mexico and time is flying.

@@Wafflesmom I had to cancel the bachelorette so I didn't get any cupcake photos for you.

It sounds like you are all doing amazing on your goals!

My Goals (depending on this cold):  If I feel better tomorrow I am going to spin, if not I will work out Thursday and spin Friday morning.  This weekend I'm going to work out and meal prep.  I need to crack down, I'm going very strict, and having one meal treat a week - time is ticking!

@@deecol I'm really sorry to hear about your Nonno. Something like that certainly disrupts your schedule. But you will get back on track. Hope you are starting to feel better. I'm so sorry for your loss.

@@yycbride2016 So there's no flour or anything in the pancake? Just the protein powder? Interesting... I will have to give it a shot!

I haven't been on track this week, but no good excuses. We took a long weekend together, so I didn't work out over the weekend and then I have an appt Friday morning, so not able to hit the gym then. I will probably be a few workouts short this week. Which is unfortunate because I need to combat what I ate yesterday! I had an all-day meeting and I was soooo good to start. Didn't have any of the pastries, even had my veggies as a snack and ate my own lunch. And then the desserts and Halloween candy showed up LOL. I really pigged out. And then we went out for dinner with friends where we had sangria, wine and lots of Spanish tapas, which are anything but low fat. Oh well. Sh*t happens.  :P

Thank you @@vancouverpetunia you are so sweet. Starting to feel better and hoping to get back into my routine soon. You're doing so great! Don't let a little (or big) treat discourage you! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
