You should, it's gorgeous.

I love all your ideas for the ceremony and the reception!

Flowers are pricey, thankfully I re purposed mine from the ceremony to the reception as well :)

We also used maracas with that saying and I had to laugh because we also used the same font from Vistaprint LOL!!!

Our guests LOVED them and were shaking them all night long and dancing with them.  Best idea ever really.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your guestbook frame. Would you be willing to share your Etsy vendor? I may just want one of those to hang at our house :)

@@Janjin oh my gosh! Everything is so beautiful! I love the sky deck set up and the simplicity of everything. I think you chose right! I love the guest book idea! Its super cute and so easy to put up around the house afterwards to remember your special day every day! The escort cards are awesome! I think that will be so much fun on your wedding day!

@@calgarybride2015 - good thinking - maybe I can have the ceremony flowers brought down to the reception and placed around our table and the guest book table :)  Haha too funny I'm using the same font - it just looks fun to me :)

The etsy vendor is AlphabetArtPhotos.  She was very responsive and quick.

@@yycbride2016 - thanks!  Having everything in one place here is definitely keeping me organized and excited :)

What I did was use my bridesmaid's bouquets as the table's centerpieces.  Then I had the ceremony table flowers on the head table, and the large hanging flowers on the cake table.  At my resort I guess they always re-use the ceremony flowers, so I just had to tell her to make sure the bridesmaid's bouquets got into the vases and we were good to go!

I had one more table than I had bridesmaid, so I had an extra bouquet made.

I would def look into it, you would think they should have no problem with this and if they do, they are just a cash grab :(

Yea, I'll have to talk to my WC about it because I agree I don't see why they couldn't bring the flowers to the reception.  I only have 2 bridesmaids and I'm going to need 10 centerpieces so that's why I figured we can use their flowers and mine on the sweetheart table and everyone else can have the vases and candles.

@@Janjin I love your bridal party outfits. I love the rich purple tone, very elegant. AND I love the grey pants and suspenders with the custom converse sneakers! That's great that you were able to find both moms' outfits and make a day out of it.

As for your decor vision, it's all very beautiful. Again, I love the dark purples! Now with the flowers you'll have during your ceremony, would you be able to repurpose those for the reception? Maybe you can use them as your sweetheart table decor. And I've seen photos of that gazebo and have always wondered where that was. It's gonna look beautiful with the paper lanterns and string lights. And I agree with @@calgarybride2015, which Groupon vendor? I love that!

Ahh just finished writing, stuffing and labeling the thank you cards for my bridal shower gifts!  Just have to pick up some stamps today during lunch and mail them out.  They're going out exactly 1 month after the shower - not too bad!!

I had the thank you cards made using vistaprint

@@Janjin Everything looks great!! That purple colour is very rich and I think will be very elegant. I love the resorts with the deck like yours. There have been several brides here that have used the Karisma resorts and had it and it's just gorgeous!! I love what you're thinking for the set up. Very pretty!

What sort of tag did you get from Vistaprint for your maracas? it's so pretty! I only need about 8 tags so it isn't worth it for me, but I really like how it turned out. I'm using a similar saying on ours too. I think a lot of brides use it. That and "Shake for a Kiss" is the other popular one.

Definitely push to repurpose your flowers. I can't see why not! And you're paying for them so for sure it makes sense!!

@@acw271011 - I just got their regular business cards and I asked Vistaprint customer service to copy the same design from my thank you cards on to it.  They were great and did it in a few minutes!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
