Groom's Attire

 

Since we're at 4 months out, unwashed getting nervous that we were cutting it close to finding a suit for Derrick. He kept stalling in shopping for one saying he wanted to lose weight before shopping. Well he finally gave up and we've been shopping for his suit. We went to Moore's but unfortunately he's too big for regular sizing (his chest and shoulders are quite broad) but too small for big and tall clothes. I researched a bit and thought that we should get a custom suit made. I've always liked Indichino suits and they're well priced so we made an appointment for last weekend. They have great customer service and really walk you through all the options, including fabric breathability and what combination works. So we ended up buying a three piece grey suit and a white shirt too. He's only going to wear the pants, shirt and vest but we got the whole thing so he can wear it for other occasions. We're going to buy a coral tie and pocket square for his vest too. I'm super excited! One less thing to worry about. Oh and the good part, they'll have it made by end of October. His first fitting is in November so that gives us plenty of time.

Looovveee!!! We were thinking the same thing, the vest and pants in grey with a white shirt.

@@deecol great minds think alike! I'm giving Der the option of wearing both the tie and pocket square, or just the pocket square for a touch of colour. Plus he'll have his boutonniere anyways. I thought he'll need as much air and ability to breathe since he'll already be sweating due to his nerves lol. He liked that idea

 

 

Ok I need your opinions and advice. I'm bringing my own coral napkins since LatinAsia (our décor vendor) doesn't have any. I didn't want to pay another vendor just for napkins so I found my own. I will be placing the napkins on top of Silver plate chargers and the place cards will be attached to the napkin rings. Back to what I need your opinion on, which napkin fold do you guys prefer? I'm sorry the pics are rotated, I can't seem to fix how it gets uploaded. The first one is a ribbon and the second is supposed to be vertical and not horizontal

I think both napkin folds are very cute, I'm actually a bit torn! But when I picture it on the plate and how you described I think I'm leaning more towards the second one.

Shoot I'm always the odd one out. I really like the first one. To me it's just so neat and elegant. I love the colour!!!

 

Love the suit! Beautiful cut! And a coral tie will look great!!  Doug also ended up in gray but just jacket and pants. His shirt is white and his vest and tie are tuquoise. I thought for sure he would take the tan but when he tried everything all on he liked the grey better. Works for me. The gray goes with both pink and turquoise so it's all good!!
