I agree with @@calgarybride2015 here. Men sometimes get excited and carried away. He had a room for himself to get ready at, and he started inviting people that weren't part of the bridal party. I let him do as he pleased, but I thought that having all the wedding guests in your room while you get ready kind of defeats the purpose of them seeing you when you're all "done up". I told him about it and he stopped haha.

I also had a bridal suite that I rented for the bridal party and myself to get ready at. It wasn't very big, and I didn't really want more than the bridal party (including our moms, of course) there.  Then I found out that my dear hubby started inviting other people to the bridal suite. I had to pull the breaks on that ASAP. I basically wanted to strangle him at one point (or a couple of points during the wedding week haha). We still had one person not in the bridal party come with us to the suite, but oh well.

Men sometimes don't get it, sigh.

They truly don't @@TinkerSofi

My big one was when we got engaged he just went out and asked 3 guys to be his men. Which is great don't get me wrong. But then I was left to find 3 and it would have been nice to have a convo about it first lol

I made have laughed reading your story. I know it wasn't laughable in the moment but that truly is a man's mindset

@JoannaBanana  I have to go with everyone else on the lace dress too. I think for your legal it would be really nice. And I agree the other one looks "worky". lol

And definitely guys do get excited about it all too!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
