We are getting married in October 2016 and I although most things are sorted one of the areas I am really struggling to find are decent bridesmaid dresses for £100 or under per dress. The colours I am looking for are burnt orange and royal blue - naturally royal blue is easy to find but burnt orange is rather more difficult.

I have found lots of websites which offer a service where you can buy a dress custom made - looking like they come from China. I used to live in Hong Kong and so have had things made in China before and the quality is very good. I am worried though that if I go with one of these companies I will be parting with a lot of money but not getting anything or getting rubbish quality products.

One of the websites I've found is: http://www.jueshegowns.co.uk/

Anyone used this place or any other internet custom making service?

Hi @@dahead, I'd been having the same problem, (I'm from the UK) and have been trying to find dresses that will fit all in my bridal party for a decent price. I was planning on getting dresses from China but then came across http://www.forherandforhim.com/ depending on how many dresses you have, a lot come in under £100 and they always seem to have sale! The great part for me is that they make custom dresses/plus size/maternity/jr. Bridesmaid versions and even flower girl versions of the adult dress if you need it. They have plenty of colours to choose from. If you see a dress you like elsewhere, they are happy to quote you. It's the easiest option for me. I also love that they have a "showroom" section where you can add dresses that you love and then invite your bridesmaids who can comment on dresses and add ones they like....great way to narrow down options. Check out the real weddings page and you can see loads and loads of photos from brides who have sent photos of their bridesmaids, I haven't ordered mine yet but the quality does look good.

I hope this helps. If you d happen to find any other good websites, please let me know

@dahead  Congrats and welcome! You've come to the right place for ideas and suggestions and the brides here are always happy to help.

Have you looked into David's Bridal? They ship internationally. If you go to http://www.davidsbridal.com  and when the home page comes up, just select United Kingdom for the country and it will give you the pricing in pounds sterling. They have a ton of styles and I found a colour that is pretty close to burnt orange but you can take a look for yourself and see what they have. Their sizing is pretty good as far as accuracy so you could take your wedding party's measurements and see what works, and I found styles that were under £100. They have both long and short styles so a pretty good selection.

Good luck and happy planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
