Hawaii Wedding Planner?

Hi Mrs.B 2008,

I'm working with a wedding planner on Oahu. She is available for inter-island travel. My FI and I picked her because she has a great eye for design and is very calm, even in times of crisis, and responsive. Her name is Sandra Williams, and her company is called Finishing Touch. The website is:

FINISHING TOUCH HAWAII

You can mention my name (Miki Nguyen) in your inquiry. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

not sure if you still needed a planner but when i was shooting a wedding in hawaii this summer i worked with a suuuper great planner. she helped me out so much by keeping me informed of everything that was going on and the couple had such nice things to say about her. here is her email address. iben@hawaii-wedding.com . hopefully you two can work something out :)

DO NOT use Sandra Williams from Finishing Touch.  She is very unorganized, impossible to get a hold of, and rides off of the designs from other vendors such as your florist.  She only responds via email, and never returns your phone calls.  If you need to meet with her, she expects you to book 3 weeks out.  She is also very unprofessional.  If you look on yelp, you will read another review which goes in more depth about their similarly awful experience with Sandra.  If only we had seen the review before we booked her.  She truly made me feel uninspired about our wedding, and in the end made it a disaster.

My brother and sister and law were looking at getting married in hawaii, but like you didnt want to book through a resort,
So after a bit of research, they found out that you can actually go on a cruise to Hawaii and get married on the cruise!
Cruise.co.uk are where they booked it, its definatly worth a look !
It was soo romantic, and the best part is that all the guests can come with you :D

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
