@Wafflesmom exactly - it HAS to match. again, mike DID NOT agree when i told him that. "it's a drink - who cares what colour it is as long as it tastes good!"

thanks for your input as well. don't get me wrong, i like pink but i am not a 'pink girl'. blush looks so beautiful and romantic though. i think i will ex the rose and go with champagne, blush and gold with a pop of greenery in the flower bouquets and centre pieces.

@ashhtayy if Mike really wants something with the Canucks, maybe a special "groom's cocktail" that's blue and green? Or I've seen brides put a small pin or character on the wedding cake just to surprise their groom lol aside from that, blue and green definitely does not match your colour palette. Sorry Mike lol

@Wafflesmom you are such a better fiancé than me lol I'm going to remember this post but am not going to share the idea with Mike haha he would insist this happened.

You are right though. It would be a great surprise for him that he and half of our guests would enjoy. The other half are die hard leaf fans like myself; maybe I'll have to incorporate both the Canucks and Leafs! Decisions, decisions!

Lots of brides find a garter with the sports team on it. That's another idea. Both teams kinda suck soooo lol. GO FLAMES!!!!

@calgarybride2015 I refuse to like your post and I seceretly hope no one else does LOL

Canucks garter is a great idea! That way I can hide it and no one will have to look at it :)

@calgarybride2015 I agree to not like your post Kim! Lol

@ashhtayy based on how the Canucks are playing, I don't blame you for wanting to hide the Canucks garter lol

Bahahah @Wafflesmom you are no better than I. But let's be honest the Leafs aren't doing any better. It killed me to by Shawn a Leafs jersey for Xmas :)

You have my vote for Rose, Blush and Gold(or muted gold - champagne)! haha. I may be a bit biased since that's basically my colour scheme (minus some coral accent), but I love the way that it looks.

Ps. Your bouquets are just like my centrepiece vision. Love it!!! I just bought a ton of lambs ear the other day to add into my centrepiece.

I love the second color palette and I think it's totally doable. Why not? Those colors are really in lately so I don't think you'll have trouble finding stuff. I think it will look gorgeous and romantic :), right up my alley at least :P

My color now became popular, but when I was trying to find stuff, nothing haha. Sometimes that happens. I think it would be easy for example, getting blush pink dresses for bridesmaids, and not only at bridal stores, which can save everyone a buck or two :)

I don't know why we picked what we did. I think the mango margarita sounds delicious :). We might have to change our mind when we get there haha.

@ashhtayy we met with our jeweller over the weekend and he was really good. He's very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about diamonds. He's going to make me an eternity wedding band that matches my e-ring. I have a halo setting and wanted to make sure that my wedding band fit under the halo. It was also easier to get a custom piece done since my ring finger is a size 3.5. It's hard to find that size, let alone get it resized.

If you want his contact info, let me know
