Bride To Be ... April 2016

Have you tried getting a travel agent to try to get a block of rooms for you? Azul has amazing food. My resort showed low availability too but my agent got me a block by wiggling the dates just a bit. I would be happy to refer them if you'd like.

@@ReginaKay  First of all, CONGRATS! (I'm an April 2016 bride too!) I've booked at the Grand Bahia Principe Coba.  I'm not sure where you are based but we were able to get it for under $1300 for our Canadian guests from April 26-May 3rd and about 800GBP for our UK guests.

It's just over and hour drive but the price is great and the resort is beautiful.  I'm not sure about the wheelchair access but it's a huge resort so I can't imagine them not having this.

Just an option to look into!  Good luck! xo

@@ReginaKay Yay! Congrats! The Royalton Riviera Cancun was my number one pick. We had such a great quote when it first opened up but we got nervous about it being such a new resort that we backed out. I"m sure by April next year it will be perfect! Also, you're getting married on my bday! yay!

Hi all!

My name is Leveene & I'm getting married in April 2016 at Moon Palace Cancun! The number of guests should be about 55ish?

Wanted to know if it's better to go with a travel agent to book rooms/suites or deal directly with the resort? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

@@LEVEENE, welcome to BDW.  We are a top Palace Agency (We won the platinum award last year which is their highest award).  Would love to get some rates and go over the different suites, room categories, group amenities, etc.

You can contact us through the link in my siggy (as well as read reviews, etc. ) :)

@@ReginaKay, The royaltons are a great new resort chain. One of our agents was just there a couple days ago.  We have a bride and groom fly free program and this resort is part of the promotion.  Contact us for more info.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
