Oh my gosh I'm sooooooooo far behind!

First of all, your crafts are so great! Everything! The ring box (I ordered one from Etsy), your messages in a bottle, the card box. You've definitely worked hard on all of it. I'm like @Wafflesmom - I must bow to your talents but I have to bow to all of you ladies that are doing all of these wonderful things. I don't have a crafty bone in my body.

The only thing I can say is I have no idea what a hashtag is or what it's for...... it sounds cute what you came up with and @perianjay too  We won't have one not just because we won't need it (whatever it is) for 6 people but also because I have no idea what we would use it for. lol

I love the veil. I got a great deal on mine too but yours beats it! lol  What a super price!

@acw271011 thanks thanks and thanks! I'm so happy with how everything is coming together. With just over 5 months to go in starting to stress. I didn't think I would but I still feel like there's some critical things to figure out.

I had to giggle a bit about the hashtag. So a hashtag is something you type in the comment or caption of a photo on Facebook or Instagram. So when our guests take a photo at the wedding they will write #HappilyEverBrade and when I search that I can see all the photos on one page!

But on which page though? I post pics on FB all the time and have never used that hashtag thing??? People can still see them (I think).

@acw271011 yup everyone can still see the photos but when you click on hashtag it makes a link for all photos that are "tagged" with that #. (Not sure if that makes sense)

And people from all over the world can use the same hashtag like # facepalm and everyone can see eachothers pics. That said I've never googled a hashtag so not sure what the search would look like.
Edit -- haha is it just for pics or would they see my msg? I put a space just in case.

It's quite apparent I'm a rookie too @acw271011

@calgarybride2015 if you put a space after the hashtag it can't be found. Also you can't google a hashtag, you search them on social media platfoms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).

But if you put a hashtag on a Facebook post, that post would show up with the other photos or post that used that hashtag.

So if a guest to my wedding said: had a great time at the wedding #HappilyEverBrade then it would also show up when I search my hashtag on Facebook or Twitter or wherever they used it.

Ahhhh makes sense now. I knew people used hashtags after statuses but didn't know it was for FB only. Now I'm all educated :) thanks

I dunno..... still sounds pretty complicated to me. I think it's something I'll pass on for now lol  I don't want anything I post to go all over the world.... I did sign up for wedpics though. Not sure if that counts or not! lol

@acw271011 that's fair enough! We have wedpics too! I think it'll be great! It's a very similar concept but more private for just you and your guests!

What you post on BDW can/does go all over the world too. When I was planning and googling ideas there was always BDW posts and pics in the searches :)

I has wed pics too. More people used FB. Hindsite for my crowd a hashtag may have worked better. The older folk used wed pics probably as lots aren't on FB a lot if at all. There is still people I haven't seen their pics 8 months later.
