Newbie Looking To Get Married At Breezes Bahamas Resort, Good Or Bad ?

Okay So my wedding is planned for June 2016 in the Bahamas. I saw Breezes Bahamas and thought that would be a good idea. They are all inclusive and have a simple wedding for free. My Fiancee said that the place does not have the best reviews and that their wedding ideas look cheaply made. Any brides been there or having their wedding there? We are a small party and don't need a big over the top wedding. Any place that is all inclusive that is better in Nassau? Open to all suggestions. Thanks.

Congrats on your engagement and welcome! Unfortunately I don't have any info on the resort you're considering. Do you have a travel agent yet? They would be invaluable in helping determine your wedding budget and be able to give you recommendations on resorts where you want to be. I do remember when we were originally looking for a country to get married in, our top 2 were the Bahamas and Jamaica, and I had been at a wedding show here in Toronto. I got talking with a travel agent there and she didn't have a lot of positive things to say about Breezes. Just that it was showing its age and really needed a facelift. I really don't kmow if anything has been done since the end of 2010 so I'm afraid I can't add much more than that. Have you looked at the resort review section here to see what past brides have said about their experiences? It might be worth a look.

I hope you find what works best for you. There is also the travel agent associated with this site, Wright Travel. They are destination wedding specialists and I sure would be able. To help you out with information. Good luck and happy planning!

If you are considering destination wedding photographer. I recommend Sasha Chou Photoraphy. A very talented and friendly photographer. She loves to tavel. I am sure you can discuss good rate with her. Check out her photo. http://sashachouphot...phy.tumblr.com/

A more affordable way to spend destination wedding is hiring a local vacation photographer instead. You save a lot on travel expenses, hotel expenses and have a LOCAL photogapher to show you around. Check out PicVoyage. A new vacation photography service company. http://www.picvoyage.com which offers family photos, honeymoon, engagement, elopement and intimate destination photo service. The package is really affordable comapring to a destination wedding photographer. They can also offer local vaaction photo tours experience. I think it is pretty cool idea to save money and also get to tour the city.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
