@@acw271011 Sorry Ann - I saw this post and forgot to pop back and reply. I'm sorry I had to bail last minute. Unforunately in my line of work it's a lot of flying by the seat of your pants. I actually didn't end up getting home until 9:30 Friday night. I would love to see you all before we go :)

@@krystalball When are you back? We can't wait to hear about your trip and read about your wedding :)

We fly back on Monday. Just sitting on the beach at Mamita's Beach Club in Playa taking in as much Mexico as we can. All our guests have gone back home now and we're settling in to our Airbnb in Playa del Carmen

  • 3 weeks later...

Hi Ladies - wondering if any dates are floating around for another meetup? I missed the last one and miss you all - it's been a few months since I last saw you!

I know we wanted to have another meetup before Ashley leaves for her wedding, which only gives us a few weeks. I'm free May 20th and June 3rd (possibly May 27th if that's the consensus, but I'm likely moving that day and Jesse might disagree if I leave to go drinking, lol).

My thoughts on proposed dates:

- May 20th is the long weekend so I doubt that will work for many people. I am staying local because of the 1000 things I have left on my to do list so if by chance it does work, I could make it work too.

- May 27th is my dads birthday but we likely won't celebrate until Saturday so that may work for me.

- June 3rd won't work for me because we will be in Mexico :) We leave the 3rd and return the 17th.

May 13th is super soon but could work for me as well.

What does everyone think?

Hi ladies. I definitely am looking forward to the next meet up. I had to leave early from the last one just with not feeling great. But we will have 2 new brides and the last bride to be to meet up with! I can't believe that will be the entire group covered!! Wow.

Dates for me for may are a bit tough. We leave for Vancouver on Tuesday night for my dad's 95th on Wednesday so the 13h is no good for me. As Ashley said, the long weekend is the 20th and we're already booked with the trailer for the first camping weekend so that poofs the 20th too. We're doing a concert in Niagara Falls on the 27th so that trashes that date for me too. Our entire month of May for weekends has been booked. It's nuts.

What about another night of the week, and maybe just making it an earlier night? Would that work for anyone? I'm fine through June but I'm sure we would all like to see @@ashhtayy before she leaves. If we can't do a date, then definitely one when she's back.

The other thing is @@calgarybride2015 is going to be visiting in August so we definitely need to put a date together for when she's here!!!

Thanks for thinking of me. I've been MIA around here and Facebook (apologize for no responses to some things. Trying to catch up).

We are booked for July 28-Aug 6. Given our timeline (Shawn's family doesn't live in Toronto) I would be looking at August 5 Friday evening after Canada's Wonderland.

If it doesn't work it doesn't. I totally understand and can't really give much more for flexibility lol.

If it does yay!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
