Toronto (Gta) Brides Meet Up?!

That date would work for me too! We're leaving for Ottawa early the next morning so it might not be a super late night for me, but what the heck - I can sleep in the car!

Any suggestions on the location? I missed the last one so not sure how the restaurant worked out.

So what would be wrong with an "R" rated location??? lmao  Only maybe that we'd be so busy screaming we wouldn't be doing any talking.....  Other than that, so what??? (sorry, couldn't resist)

How did Steph's location work out last time? Would you consider going back to the same restaurant? We're going to have 2 more brides with photos and stories and 2 that will be very close to their date so talking might be a big thing... Just my thoughts but I'm up for what everyone wants to do.

I'm happy to go wherever! Are these bride meet ups the kind of thing I should drive to or go train? Aka. How late and how much fun do you end up having? ;) If Remington's is in the plans I better take the go train lol

@@ashhtayy. They are definitely FUN!! I've never enjoyed talking "weddings" so much in my life!! lol. Plus you get tons of other talk and pictures and ideas. It's great! Oh yeah and the drinks..... And food of course. Absolutely do NOT recommend drinking and driving. The last time I went I was on the GO home and I got Doug to pick me up at the station and I got my truck the next day. You get busy yacking and don't realize how smoothly the drinks are going down!! lol

Just to clarify I knew it would be fun, I just didn't want to be the only one showing up and planning to have a couple/ a few drinks lol

Can't wait!

@ashhtayy  Don't worry. So far everyone that says yes shows up so no issues on that end. I missed the last one because I was sick but I'm totally up for the next one!

If we can confirm a date and a location then we'll be good to go!!

Just throwing a dinner idea out there - Cibo has really good Italian food.  There's one on King St W, Yorkville Ave, & Yonge St.

@@krystalball you're a bit more familiar with downtown - any suggestions?

@ mmm Cibo is so good!  We had our work Christmas party at the Yorkville location, and I'm taking my soon-to-be MOH and her best friend there for lunch before our Manicures when they come to visit from England.

I would love to be close to a subway station too, I'll def be taking transit and having a couple drinks.  I'm having a dry January but the 29th is pretty close to end of the month  ;)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
