@@vancouverpetunia Happy to hear your shower went well, and your bikinis are super cute.  Yes!  Work it girl!

Your list is shrinking too!  You will definitely be able to get lots done while Jeff is at work, I find I'm most productive when Col isn't home either lol

@ I'm so glad you mentioned that Chester used the powder.  I suggested it to Col and I'm pretty sure only because I mentioned another man used it he was okay with it lol

@@vancouverpetunia I'm not the best person to ask about make up - this is one area I knew I would not try and do myself. lol! I'm pretty useless in both hair and make up...I leave it up to the professionals. I do however bringing your own lipgloss/lipstick for touch-ups. I totally forgot to do this but one of my bridesmaids bought lipgloss from the spa and my photographer had some with her as well (she thought of everything).

@ Thank you! Is this the one: http://www.sephora.com/translucent-loose-setting-powder-P109908?skuId=1635176? I assume it goes on after all make-up has been applied?

@@deecol So true. When the guys are away, the girls get productive. Haha

@@snswedding2016 Yeah, make-up is not my thing either! I mean, I wear make-up and I think I do okay for day-to-day, but I don't get fancy with it. And forget hair. I have always been useless at anything other than a ponytail.

P.S. Escort card & table number files just came in and appear to be correct and functional. Phew!

Honesty all I brought was my colored lip gloss and just used what the resort offered which was MAC products. They sprayed my face after to set the makeup.

Sounds like your shower was great. I totally understand not wanting to be the center of attention.

Love the swim suits. Especially the flowered one. You will rock them. April 7 will be here in NO time. Yay!!!!

Hope you get the last of your stationary soon!

Glad you had a great shower :) I anticipate feeling awkward being the center of attention too, but it's good preparation for what's to come at our weddings.

Sexy bathing suits! Show off how hard you've worked :)

I popped into Sephora yesterday and asked about the powder because I couldn't find the travel sized one in the Laura Mercier section. The lady found it for me in the que line. Your store may have it up there as well. I purchased too - @ should get commission.

You're in great shape. Soon we'll be sending you Happy Wedding Day messages! :)

@@calgarybride2015, @@ashhtayy Thanks for the support on the swimsuits! I'm always so self-conscious baring my tummy, even when it's looking alright. But heck, why not?

@@krystalball When do you leave? Are you doing okay?

OMG we leave in a week! :o We had a nice weekend. I had 3 days off, Jeff had his usual weekend. His birthday was last Thursday, so we went out Saturday for a nice dinner. Actually, we went back to the restaurant where we went after our legal ceremony a few weeks ago. I also was able to knock some stuff off my list, including table numbers & escort cards. Here are some pix:

Card box and sign. In addition to any wedding cards that guests might bring, we are also doing mad libs cards as our guest book, so we needed a place to collect those as well.

Also, I don't know if I posted the completed program fans from a few weeks ago:

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
