He really is wonderful to work with - very professional and hard working (and nice!). We had our images on disc delivered to us in person on our honeymoon, which was a real treat. Christa used him also if you want to see more of his pics (she is a senior member of the forum). He is a member of the forum, too, I think...

Hi, I'm still trying to figure out the whole photo/video thing. I am booking Dreams Los CAbos, and inthe ultimate wedding package, it says that the phottos and video are included from tomas barrone. But what I'm looking for is a coffee style album, so will it cost me tomas's regular price, and if so is it worth just hiring someone else, or will i get a discount if i use tomas barrone as our photographer and order the album thru him?

... VERY IMPORTANT ADVICE...

Whatever you decide to do, it is NOT a good idea to fly in a photographer... unless they have an FM3 Visa, which allows them to work legally in Mexico. Immigration/Customs are showing up at weddings... it happened to me! If I did'nt have my work Visa that would have been the end of wedding photos...

Tomas Barron's rates are extremely reasonable. I don't recall him offering albums when we looked into using him. We ended up canceling our contract for the wedding but he did shoot our engagement photos.. Just make sure you like his style. You can also search "Barron" and you'll find several posts. If you don't like his work, there are many other talented photographers in Cabo. We flew in a photographer. I never heard of immigration/customs coming to someone's wedding.. why would they? They can tell someone is a photographer at the airport by seeing their equipment.

Has anyone on the forum have this happen?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
